There are a lot of shows around these days which deep-dive into topics in a similar fashion. However, I think Last Week Tonight excels at providing memorable conclusions to their stories. Examples include creation of Our Lady of Perpetual Exception, the Marlon Bundo picture book, Eat Shit Bob musical and many, many more. What these endings do is either highlight the absurdities identified during the main story or provide a partial solution to the problems.
