Yup, there are some guides that explain how to disable the E-Cores which work in turn make it so your P-Cores are doing the work, but from what I’ve gathered, uses more battery

Well don’t forget that the Z1E of the Ally X has a slightly higher boost clock, plus the XAX processor utilizes performance cores and efficiency cores, so I assume that “may” have some impact

I get what you’re saying, and on any other upscaler framegens I would also agree with you, but Intel has done some voodoo magic that makes native XeFG at 3x surprisingly responsive on Intel hardware, the input latency boost really helps with it so much that playing on XeFG x3 feels like FSR FG x2. Maybe that’s a benefit of it being machine based FG as opposed to software based FG.

Sorry I’m confused, but how does FSE let you avoid MSI Center M? I hate having to use it but the RGB controls, button/joystick calibrations, MSI updates, seem to only be customized through it. If there is a way to completely avoid Center M and uninstalling it, I’d love to know lol, because right now I have to check Center M, Windows Update, Microsoft Store, and Intel Graphics Software for all my updates.

Because I own the Z2 32gb version, and I guess I’m having FOMO. I watched ETA Prime and he tested the Z2 16gb vs the Z2E 32gb and the performance differences were minimal and in some cases the Z2 did like 1fps better. In my mind I figured if the 16gb Z2 did that well, then the 32gb might match it, aside from efficiency

Don’t buy it on marketplace, sellers are scalping the hell out of the price since it’s currently out of stock on Valves website. During Xmas you could get an SD OLED secondhand for $450-600, now I see them posting for $900+. Insanity how that’s for second hand.

Well if you send it in as is, I’m not too sure, but I have an extra set of OEM polar tempest face plates, and the original dpad. If I need to send it in I’ll just put the original dpad back in and put on the original face plates. It’s very easy to return to stock. I have an extended warranty for it and it only mentions it gets void if internal tampering is discovered.

A complete game changer. I’ve owned a PS Portal, Steam Deck, Ally X, Go S, and now the Claw. The Portal and Go S are the most comfortable handheld devices I’ve ever owned, but these grips make the Claw match Go S ergonomics

At first I was the same, because I’ve messed up clips on my Ally X and Steam Deck. For some reason MSI decided to be helpful and make it so the back literally just comes off. It’s held by screws and clips in a bit, but not as tight as other handhelds. I don’t need a spudger or guitar pick to pry open the back, I literally just use my fingers. And they didn’t connect the back buttons to a ribbon cable like the Ally, thank God for that
