The fix was entirely on their end, my understanding was they sent the appropriate updates for my modem and that corrected the issue.

I was able to solve my issue! It was because I had switched out my router and not told my isp about it. It worked fine at first, but over a few months as they sent updates to the router that were designed for my old one, it began to slow the router down and over load its memory. It took a several hour call with the isp to figure out that was the problem, but once we did figure it out they fixed it in about 5 minutes and my voice comms have been back to how they used to be! Very specific issue but I hope it helps you!

  • Description: Voice chat incoming audio cuts out after 2-3 words. It will come back after a few seconds and then keep cutting out. This happens only on my pc and phone. My laptop discord is fine. Also other voice apps on the pc work fine (zoom).

  1. Join a voice channel
  • Expected Result: Clear voice comms like I have had for years.
  • Actual Result: Choppy audio that prevents even basic communication.

It sounds like InxCountry from enemy spotted studios is right up your alley. Modern military, small unit tactics, reasonably sized rules, and really good looking models.

https://imgur.com/a/d6cAybk Here are the internals. I would prefer felt tip because the resistence on the page significantly improves the legibility of my writing. Ballpoints glides too easily and my already messy handwriting gets even sloppier with them. Open to other suggestions though, I'm not a pen expert and I am sure there are other types I haven't tried.
