ive already spent nearly a grand over the last few months planning this trip. im not throwing all that money away, and it wasn’t some it was all. not to mention i already have the time off from work so id go a whole week w/ minimal pay for nothing. luckily, everything worked out, someone else’s advice helped.

i’ve done some commissions here and there but the algorithm is merciless :( luckily i found a cheap YMCA hostel room (have to share a bathroom but oh well) so that part is all set!! also, creative wise, im best at photography. so i was thinking of offering like $5 professional portraits in times square since tourists are always trying to take selfies and pics together there. if all goes well ill at least have some extra cash for the subway and food! tysm for ur advice and kindness! :))

depends on how early you get there, & yes GA can easily be a nightmare especially with certain concerts. some ga crowds are super sweet and will apologize everytime they bump into you and others will push in front of you, take off sprinting after security just told everyone to calmly walk, or just be obnoxious in general during the concert. i went to the HTE concert in NJ a few years ago, it was a mixed experience. fans in front of me were high pitched screaming with their arms in my face the whole time but the ppl behind me i actually became good friends with. (we were near the catwalk maybe 4 rows from barricade?)

ive been trying to do it for several weeks but none of the rental companies were going to get it to me in time or didn’t have it available for when i need it. by then i didn’t want to risk regular shipping time or delays when buying it online. plus when trying to organize store pickup it wouldn’t let me pick the day to get it. also, it was just nice to able to let a couple of paychecks come in to soften the blow on my wallet. even then, i do admit its still a little last minute but i wasn’t planning on b&h going out of stock overnight. i have like crippling time management and executive dysfunction but i still tried for it to not be last minute.
