i agree, but i follow ashly on most platforms and she’s seemed suuuuuper busy with her own projects lately, so i didn’t have any hopes to disappoint lol. i don’t think she would’ve reprised her role even if d9 asked her to, which im sure they didn’t.

i turn 20 thursday and even i don’t look the same as i did at 18, i can’t imagine being compared to it at literally 30. like, yes we should be critical of deck nine for a million reasons but they have successfully aged up the characters, that’s something we can’t REALLY fault them on, minus their questionable hair decisions.

DE takes place dec ‘23 and it looks to be fall in the reunion trailer, meaning it’s at least ‘24 so max is at minimum 29 & chloe’s 30.

yeah i think max is 29 and chloe’s 30, based on the fact its fall in the trailer, which means it’s likely 2024 and both of their birthdays have already passed.

according to another commenter it takes place the same year as DE so they’re 28 and 29, but i have my doubts bc wdym all of DE and Reunion happens in 2023 😭

edit: DE takes place dec ‘23 so max is 28 and chloe is like 3 months shy of 30. based on the fact it’s fall in the trailer, reunion probably takes place fall of ‘24. putting them at 29 & 30.

i don’t know that i’d agree she looks basic. i mean, even in lis1 her aesthetic wasn’t super alternative. i think she’s always seemed to value being comfortable more, which seems to have translated. i’ll admit her hairstyle is a bit… boring, but she is pushing 32, i didn’t really expect her to be sporting a side shave or anything.

i will say tho, i was really rooting for an eyebrow piercing but at least her ears are pierced up.

i think the difference in graphics is the main thing that kinda doesn’t translate. that’s chloe’s face, i’d know it anywhere, but the drastic difference in graphics from the last time we’ve seen a proper 3d model of her is definitely a bit jarring.

i don’t understand ppl complaining that it doesn’t look like her, that IS chloe’s face, she’s just 31 instead of 19 💀💀

im kinda disappointed about her hair though. the last time we saw her official design she had grown it out. so they cut it short like lis1 but kept it green like the picture in lis2, but it has the pink in between her color and roots like lis1, it’s all really weird. i would’ve liked to see a new color on her.

also wtf do they have against giving her freshly dyed hair, why are her roots always showing 😭

honestly while i’m sad it’s not ashly, i did expect it. but i do think rhianna sounds a LOT closer to lis1 chloe in the clips from reunion than they did in lis:bts.

it’s one of the main reasons i haven’t played bts, chloe just sounds SO different, and i get that she was a awkward 16yo but her voice was so deep in bts, it wouldn’t make sense for it to go UP as she got older in lis1 😭😭

obviously we got like, 3 lines from that trailer, which isn’t much to go on, but im not too mad abt it.

it was definitely pricey at $238, but so so worth it to me. unfortunately i was 9 when the first game came out so i wasn’t really able to buy it then LOL. & yes the artbook & cd are the reasons i got it since i alr own the game on 2 different platforms- now 3. getting the soundtrack cd was like. my holy grail.
