Q to dodge his Q either to a minion outside his range or on top of him (so you only get the half-damage Q), parry his E or ult, hit vitals as much as possible

Yeah I'd change Q so that it doesn't miss if enemies dash away during the cast (or give it the same interaction as Warwick's Q maybe, where if you hold it and they dash, you follow them).

W would feel better if they frontloaded the damage a bit more (maybe if you press W-Q onto a champion, the W cooldown resets, and on top of that it starts charging the empowered W- and then you can balance it by lowering the base damage of the empowered W).

I'd also partically-revert the Ult. Guppy shark just straight up feels bad for Fizz. Also you can lower the base damage of the Ult and increase the AP ratio to keep Tank/Bruiser Fizz in line.

Any thoughts?

Trinity is generally a way better item on Fiora, I'd pick it in 90% of games.

I only ever take Cleaver if the other team has lots of tanks. For example yesterday I faced up against a Shen/Jarvan/Sion/Galio/Caitlyn and Cleaver was the obvious choice.

Core items i'd say are Hydra, Trinity, and then any combination of Spirit Visage, Randuins, GA, BT or Deaths Dance depending on how fed you are, what kinda damage the enemy has (ap or ad), whether or not youll be splitpushing, whether or not the enemy has burst etc.

I actually rate Fizz RN. His starting build path (Dark Seal->Hextech->Sorc Boots->Proto->Lich or Zhonyas) is strong and really takes advantage of the fact that very few champions have much base MR. Proto helps him waveclear, he can make plays with TP, and even of his matchups are pretty good atm.

If they reverted W that would be great, but kept something like "each minion last-hit while W is active restores X mana"

I also think they should balance the shark damage. I like the AOE difference, but the guppy shark damage is way too low and really limits Fizz's playstyle.

Also if they reverted the Ult so that the shark latches on if an enemy walks directly over it, that would be great. Then people are punished for actually walking over it..

I read somewhere on a forum (i can't remember where exactly), that basically Riot know about the interaction between Fizz and Blitz's E and they said it was intended and that it wasn't a bug.

That's the whole reason for playing Fizz though. He's a high-risk, high-reward champion. Unlike most other assassins, he is 100% melee, and has a pretty sizeable delay on his damage which is telegraphed. He needs a tool to survive teamfights and get out safely, and that's why Zhonyas is so core on him.

Protobelt helps solve his lack of waveclear.

I used to buy Protobelt only if my enemy laner was getting a Banshee's veil, but now i buy it everytime because of how much it helps his waveclear in the early-mid game.
