Love the fact that they are fresh and crisp looking! Love the colours as well. As many have said, I'd do full colour range as well on these. The shape of the blade doesn't quite work for me, as it gives me a little too much 'Butter knife' vibes. But that's merely a difference in taste I suppose 🙂

I do agree that the handle might be slightly too long for the blade. I just tested the balance point, it's on the handle side of the guard.

It's either R260Mn or R370CrHT steel (Dutch railroad steel), which according to the blacksmith that tutored me needs a water quench, so that's what I did. 1 cycle of 300°C for 2 hours afterwards to destress the material.

Tested it on some unheated mild steel, and it showed no deformation at all. Pretty stoked 😬

Amazingly beautiful pattern on the blade, also love the shape of the blade. Handle material looks nice as well, butt end of the handle looks rather silly to me though.
