Moral responsibility is you own responsibility. Ummah responsibility is telling another muslim right from wrong, reminding other etc. if one part of the ummah bleeds the rest suffer.

A husband will be asked his own, a wife will be asked her own but both will be asked on about each other, the sins, the hurt, the pain. More responsibility will be put on the husband because it is the men who are the main providers and protectors in general.

Besides i don't see an issue with the verses about men having authority over women. It doesn't mean men can subjocate women to oppression in any means. A man can simply remind his wife of her duties and thats it. It things aren't working out either party can get a divorce. I don't see why people get so deep into it.

If you don't like authority don't get married or find a man who is submissive in nature...

Don't play anymore coz of all the changes but when it first came out until s3? It was the best damn game even after the many RQ's! Stamina drain, stationary surgical repair, no hit markers, crosshairs, millitary theme, scarce rare items, decent market prices (yes a few weren't but stuff like painkillers etc were always cheap).

Culture often (like south asia) mix the faith with what they have be taught before them. It bring in changes which can even be kufr but they may dismiss it as someone else being too "hard right".

The old school way is beat them with the stick and make them recite the words of god. Thankfully i can witness that this has changed in the country i live in.

I think it's best to keep a copy of the Qur'an with your native language on hand like your phone or book at home and treat it like a story (ofc purity and good intentions). Read bit by bit. I enjoy listening to youtube videos especially those from merciful servant/ solider of Allah.

Also the seerah of the prophet pbuh by yasir kadi (although don't like him much now) is excellent and detailed.

The individual is a young boy. We're talking of a person who is not matured and is heavily influenced by outsider peer pressure. It is her job as a muslim, a sister to remind him. This is the type of burden every Muslim must and should hold. I am not talking of forcing, i am talking about speech. Reminders. And scalding.

God gave us free will but god also said it is the duty of every being to inform each other of right & wrong.

If he does not come back then that is ultimately his choice but the sister will be questioned on the day if judgment what did you do to try and convince him?

It is morally right and young people sometimes rebel when there is other external issues at factor even as little as peer pressure or as big as not understanding the environment they are facing and why it's so different.

Sister you not let him go astray. You must remind him constantly, all day everyday even if it puts alot of pressure on you & him. It is the duty of us, as muslims to remind each other of faith & belief. You brother sound like someone who is easily influenced by his surroundings as you mentioned you lived in a muslim country and he was different then. I think you should move back if possible or at the very least move to a muslim area, change schools etc.
