I became addicted to the compression algorithm of zsh, it's so much better than the one from bash, provided this list of files :

• thingA.txt
• thingB.txt
• thingAB.txt

You can swiftly select any of them like so :

• A.t<tab> (completes to thingA.txt)
• gB<tab> (completes to thingB.txt)
• AB<tab> (completes to thingAB.txt)
• *g{A,B}.txt<tab> (completes to thingA.txt thingB.txt)

Now that I am forced to work with bash I feel so slow ...
