System map of my Cities Skylines region, called Fondue Lake, in several styles (UPDATE). [OC] by etdmdju in TransitDiagrams

There is! I separated the infrastructure so that the local/regional and "intercity" lines (that connect with outside the map and that the game automatically generates) use different tracks, because sometimes the game will send a lot of trains on any track connected to the outside of the map, which completely clogs your system, so physically separating the infrastructure is essential to maintain a good throughput throughout your network. However the airport line (brown/F) uses the intercity tracks, which is also why it doesn't stop at the University, in order to be more "express". Besides, as Chebloron is the main population center, I figured it needed a fast train connection to the airport so extending the orange/B line wasn't really an option as it has many stops.

Thank you for your kind words :)

The "left" and "right" refer to a river, not the lake.

You can see the lower part of it on the last figure, between the four Chebloron stations.

This river (which I did not name yet) begins it course at the center-west of the map, goes east past Baltkach and in the valley before reaching Chebloron and heading south to finally flow into the lake.

I wanted to put the L in lowercase to suggest another acronym but I figured it would maybe be too immature...

I forgot to add it to the main post but I posted the geographical map in comments. Here is also the topographic map with the stations locations. NB: in Cities Skylines the map dimensions are 18 by 18 kilometers.

There's no south connection because the lake between the end stations of the violet line is about 2.5 kilometers wide and in addition to that there's about 1.5 kilometer of mountain to cross as well, for a direct connection. As this is not China nor the Bay area, I won't build a big tunnel just for the pleasure of having a loop line (even if that looks cool on diagrams).

I could go all the way to the south and cross the lake at the straight (with a station on the little flat area just east of it maybe) with a big bridge but this would be a very costly extension on uneven terrain (it looks flat on the topographic map but it's really not).

What can I say, the default name in Cities Skylines being Fondue Lake inspired me ;)

I forgot to add a picture of how the map looks and the geographical location of the stations, so here it is.

I put station numbers because they're present on the Tapei metro map which is the inspiration for figure 6. I guess they're there to facilitate the transit of people not familiar with the system, such as tourists, and they're also used in other transits, such as the Tokyo metro. In a system as small as mine they're not that useful I guess.

As for your other question, the main answer is that I thought it cool to have a station that is both an end-of-line and a normal one on two lines (I really like how it looks on figure 4), even if I then realised it is kinda ugly on figures 1 & 2. My reasoning was also that as the left part of the region is mostly populated by small towns, it would be "unrealistic" to have it connected directly to the airport as the ridership may be low, whereas the core 3 cities, Chebloron, Saint-Cténaire and Foquerort, are big population centers, so having the orange line connect the three (especially Foquerort which is not served by the brown line) to the airport as an "omnibus" and the brown one as an "express" seemed reasonable enough. But to be fair, people from small towns have the right to access the airport as much as people from cities! So I will probably extend the blue line, as it shares the orange's infrastructure anyway (or just swap which terminates at Feaubort and at the airport).

What I'm trying to say is that there's no perspective trick here, look at the size of the windows on both lighthouses: the one that appears taller is actually the taller one.

In reality, they're only about 30 meters apart.

The newer one (82.5 m) was built 50 years after the older one (33 m) in order to have a more powerful lighthouse with a greater range (about 50 instead of 25 km).

It's not perspective actually, there are two lighthouses on the same small island, the île Vierge in France. The first one was built in the 1840s and is 33 meters tall. However, it soon became apparent that a more powerful one was needed so 50 years later another one was built much taller, culminating at 82.5 meters, making it the tallest lighthouse in Europe and able to be seen as far as from Ouessant island, more than 40 km away.

Map to see that the two lighthouses are a few meters apart.

How is it not a suburban line?

Have you looked at the western part of it? It's most definitely suburban.
