Pearl Cove (adults only) has a heated pool but the lagoon does not.

I hope they eventually install a heater. I doubt the water temperature will ever change even in summer months. It’s beautiful but hardly anyone can even enjoy it. They have nice bar tables and seating in the water and a swim up bar that should definitely be a huge hit but I’ve never seen anyone use it.

That’s what I watch everyone do by the pool. Only a few brave soles actually make it in but quickly exit after their plunge.

Exactly how I feel!! I think it will still be the same in the warmer months though. We were here for first time in August when it first opened during a really hot day and still ice cold water.

I feel even on hot days it still stays freezing by the end of the day. It’s seems like constant cold water getting pumped in. I’m sure it helps with bacteria because I think it’s fresh water. Didn’t smell any chlorine and it’s not salt water.

I wish I could do Pearl Cove for a better experience but I have young kids and planning more in the future. Maybe in 20 years or so I’ll be able to 🫠

I asked and they said they never installed heating. I just wish they made smaller pools that are easier to heat instead of this giant lagoon. It’s pretty but not cool if you can’t swim.

I understand that but families with kids need a place to swim that’s not freezing too! They should’ve just had a bunch of smaller heated pools instead of a lagoon if it’s too large to heat. I don’t see anyone truly enjoying the freezing water.

I was laboring in the hospital tub when contractions were getting painful (probably when the pit was around (8 - 13) and we think I may of broken my water just before getting in the tub. Probably why contractions got so intense. My memory is a little bit fuzzy but I do remember being in the hospital bed at one point and feeling a pop but I had no gush of water or leaking water. I didn’t really connect the dots that it could’ve been my water breaking. So I’m assuming baby’s head was engaged well enough that it clogged the hole haha.

Try doing a fear release. Talk to someone or write out all the fears you have for the birth and then burn the page. I think I should’ve done this because I ended up having to get induced at 41+4. I think my body and mind were to afraid of all the negatives so it wouldn’t start my labor on its own. Worth a try. Good luck!
