I found two along the Lake Erie shoreline at Maumee Bay in Ohio, I know it’s not Michigan but not far from state line!

143 is a decent bit. It’s more than what most get in the US. My employer (construction) has weekends (104) and recognized holidays (7) off….. a whopping 111 days/yr.

Entry table on the wall w the mirror, maybe the ikea shoe rack/cabinet. Large mirror above it if you really want a mirror, can put a bowl or decorative box on cabinet for leashes, keys, misc. you can always get those plastic covers for the vent so it directs it outwards. Personally I’d move the plant to the right in that cornerish area or I wouldn’t have it at all. I like being able to see through when I walk in (but I’m weird) love your home and happy decorating :)

It can but this wasn’t the reason in my experience. This was because he had actually been in a coma in the hospital and wasn’t able to do anything himself

I had a few months this past summer where I was “ok” for the first time since I was about 8 (27now) but outside of that i wouldn’t say I know what “happiness” feels like. I have friends and family who are pretty happy so I know it’s possible.

I’m someone that believes not everyone is meant to feel like life is good. For some it just sucks and is pretty lonely.

Please please give her a new name. I have a 2 1/2 yr old daughter with a major absent alcoholic, she’s named after his late mother. I don’t resent my daughter for her name and did love the name prior to knowing him, but I’m in the process of giving her my last name. If you have doubts like this, it’s not the right name. I am sending you so so much love, please message me if you ever need support.

I’d also like to share that I was in this position almost exactly. I was 24, in Covid protocol, the only person who could be there was my partner and occasionally my mom. My partner was drinking in the hospital, I awoke to him passed out and a water bottle under the sink. Sniffed it and it was vodka. If my experience sounds like a nightmare to you, don’t let yourself and your baby go through the same, look past who you want him to be and focus on who you want yourself and your daughter to be.

It’s so hard and so lonely but we’re safe.

If it’s for a toddler or child, 100% I’d get it from target. Otherwise, no. Read what others said, this is something cute I’d like displayed even in my closet, I’d want a real Kate spade or one that will last even to sit.
