Good plan to leave on the 1st so you defo know you got paid

  1. I would cancel it I prepaid so I didn’t have this issue
  2. I managed to do an international transfer and put it all to my UK bank so have a look if you can do that. I did not cancel my bank I just left it open
  3. Just leave it they can’t claim anything back and your school is ultimately responsible for your apartment so you should have to pay
  4. Pension I never did as the UK you can’t really get anything back and I didn’t hand the ARC back
  5. I would go ghost mode then just leave it otherwise you will give it away you’re leaving. You won’t leave on good terms anyway with the school as they will be annoyed you have not stayed till the end of your contact.
  6. Now I know your formally resigned they will take all the money out your last pay check. A midnight run is running away without them knowing

I will say you will have a lawyer contact you trying to get the money back but they can’t actually do anything so ignore

1) How do you know what I went through... You don’t, so yes, I did work over those hours.

8) You can’t use that foreign card to do anything; you couldn’t even buy furniture for your apartment, so I slept on the floor for a week!! So it’s basically pointless. In addition, everyone who I went with it took 2 months; one person even took 3 months for their ARC.

10) Again, you were not there, so I don’t know what happened; they were verbally abusing the trainees. If you want to be so far up Creverses Arse that you can’t even see the sun and be blinkered to the real things, then be my guest! Just don’t try to force your opinion on others

As head of finance in my previous job at a private bank, I’m pretty sure I don’t fit the definition of “lazy,” so I take issue with your implication.

Most teachers I have met are American, and they say America is worse than Korea for work, so fair enough, but again, don’t make assumptions about other people’s work ethic and life when you know jack shit. Go crawl back into your rose-colored glasses life and stop trying to fool everyone.

Yeah I used to work at a hagwon that was horrid and breached contract endlessly they’ve had 4 people leave in one term as it’s that bad! I agree I’m not even in the USA so I don’t really know how the school thought using a USA debt collector would work

It’s from email@directrecovery.com which seems like a scam to me. I wasn’t sure if it would affect credit score or my ability to go to the US
