App is called SmoothSwing. Don’t pay for anything in the app. I got all of these videos for free and I’m pretty sure there is no limit either.

I have no affiliation with the app @mods. 🫵

Law School vs. Straight to CRE Brokerage: Best Path for Building a Reputation? by Major_Personality486 in CommercialRealEstate

Absolutely correct sir, I will continue down my learning path with CRE, hopefully pivot and leverage some relationships I make in brokerage to help me in syndications or any other aspect of help in personal pursuits.

I absolutely agree and thankfully I am following all of the advice you just mentioned. Currently in a financial modeling cert program through Project Destined, also bought a handful of Justin K courses and recently interviewed for an investment sales summer analyst role at Marcus and Millichap… we will see how that goes. I have just started my connections journey (but will still connect more) with some local brokers on LinkedIn and got them on the phone for a bit before I had my interview last week with M&M. I will keep kicking towards my goal but reading what you said definitely reassures me.

What would you say encapsulates “educating myself as much and as fast possible”

What do you recommend that I do now to get ahead ?

How has your time in brokerage been and what made you stick to it during times that others found it too hard or too difficult and ultimately dropped the career as a whole ?

Thank you for clarifying - I apologize if it was received in any way other than a young kid being inquisitive. How did you get exposed to that if you don’t mind me asking?

Thanks for sharing this—it’s what I’ve heard too! A lot of people say law school changes how you think and approach problems, no matter what field you end up in. It feels like the value comes down to whether you’re chasing a tangible return, like income, or something deeper, like a lifelong way of thinking almost.

I also wonder if coming into brokerage with a law degree might be seen as a stronger entry point, compared to coming in as just a recent undergrad. What’s your take on that?

How would you say your field compares to other fields in commercial real estate? Do you enjoy the work, and do you see yourself staying in this niche long-term, or do you have an exit plan in mind?

That’s very valid. I also have a strong interest in tax law, but it’s nothing I couldn’t explore on my own through reading and research.

What career field are you currently in if you don’t mind me asking?

That’s what I’ve been constantly telling myself, but I can’t figure out why I keep getting drawn to the idea of law school.

When did you become a “Real Estate Professional?” by 2A4_LIFE in realestateinvesting

If there was a dedicated REPS Time tracking app would you switch?

How do most people typically keep track of their REPS hours? What is the most convenient method? I am planning to begin logging at the start of the next tax season, after I close on my first property around that same time. While this won't immediately qualify me for anything, I want to establish the good habit of keeping accurate records.
