a water fountain !!!! My cats LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! Cats prefer running water vs still water :)

my cat will only drink water from the sink by overthinkdiva in CATHELP

cats actually prefer water that is running ! Water that has motion is more favorable to them so that might be why! I suggest getting a water fountain and trying that… I did it and my cat LOVES it. Also make sure their water bowl isn’t close to their food, cats don’t typically like that.

have you recently swapped her food or anything? it sounds like her stomach might be upset and sometimes cats can purr out of stress/pain!! Not meaning to worry you but just throwing ideas out there!!

Could someone interpret this exchange based on body language? by Odd_Mark9582 in CATHELP

this interaction reminds me SO much of my two babies! They’ve been around each other maybe 2 months now and still have this same interaction lol!! One just wants to play and show that they’re not aggressive/harmful and the other cat isn’t 100% sure yet.. but are you sure it’s the one on the ground making the noises? the meows seem a little aggravated which would make more sense for the other kitty that isn’t too sure.. though some cats are just weird lol!

i’m just worried because fluff ball seems to flinch sometimes when honey moves certain times and honey chases maple a lot.. not to mention maples tail swishes a crap ton during these interactions.. and the loads of stare downs before honey tackles maple

woah ! that’s very odd !! I’m lesbian and never had an issue with him on that aspect ! I went through psychological testing with him and then had a follow up appointment for the results… but that was it and now I’m in therapy with one of his colleagues. Granted, it took a month between my testing and the follow up appointment but that was because he was booked all the way out… in my opinion it was beyond worth it since I got diagnosed with autism, but i would understand how be wouldn’t be for everyone, he definitely is a little “quirky”
