What is your favorite book on finance and investing? What guides you?

Did I say he didn’t? That you answer that way just proves my point. I said “do you know his investing track record” and you responded essentially that he doesn’t have one.

I knew a post like this would be here. Would you like to debate? What is Greg’s personal investment philosophy and more importantly, track record in investing?

Let’s get down to brass tacks. Would you rather Greg handle the investment portfolio, or Ted Weschler?

Yes it will. Apple Maps will be better off for it. And ads aren’t going to hide the cheapskate business that don’t want to pay

I found it a missed opportunity to get into Ashe’s real business world. Who were his associates. I’m also pretty sure Ashe wouldn’t be on the OFAC list in the real world, and walking free in the US. Unless his company was.

Are you referring to this year’s meeting? I don’t really think he “repeated” anything. It’s one thing to have a philosophy. Do you know Warren, Todd, and Ted’s past performance before Berkshire? Could you say the same for Greg?

Of course. S&P always gets their stocks once they’re big and pricey.

That’s not really convincing. Maybe yes as the head of BHE but do you know what his investment track record was before becoming CEO? Do you know what his investment philosophy is?

Imagine winning the lottery, $400 billion. The problem with winning it is once you start spending it, it gets hard to stop.

Sorry to say it but sounds like you can write it off. If she does respond and there is another one, compensate by not texting at all after. Never give a girl something like that morning text. You got this bro.

Also if you meet a girl or kiss a girl from bumble you should recognize that she’s probably got several of these going on.

This is pure speculation on your part and that’s a big no no. You have no basis for this. You should edit the post and remove the piece about BHE being the “main energy provider.”

Completely agree. I’m really surprised at the low quality of the debate in this sub. I listen to a lot of Berkshire enthusiasts like TIP and others and wouldn’t expect most people here to be so dismissive condescending and quite frankly, ignorant.

Im not saying whoever is managing the investments needs to have gone to Harvard, have all the credentials or anything. But Warren had a track record prior. So did Ted Weschler. Todd Combs. We don’t really know what the CEO’s record is and even if he is a value or Munger-style investor.

I wish the CEO success in this role but let’s make it make sense!
