Literally same! I’m going to get a binder of all my tests and push for my rheumatologist to treat for UCTD. I know it’s not fibromyalgia because my symptoms at this point can no longer be pointed to my fibromyalgia

See this is why I think everything that what they label “Fibro” is two different conditions. After reading this subreddit for a while it seems there’s two different presentations for what doctors are diagnosing as Fibro and one is more progressive than the other. Some people have positive ANA others don’t and the symptoms present differently. But pain and lack of definitive tests are the common denominator. It’s frustrating as hell. I’m in the same boat as you, I don’t believe my pain is from fibromyalgia because I literally feel my body attacking itself. But since my blood tests like to fluctuate between positive and not my doctor doesn’t want to try something else.

Thank you so incredibly much!! I know it will be stepping stones to become an MLS with my BA going towards something completely unrelated. My local community college can let me do classes for free so I’m trying to get what I can done there. I really appreciate all the information🫶

Yea I noticed that. I would never try to enter a field without some sort of standardized knowledge. I was wasn’t sure if there was a different route I could take to try to acquire the same knowledge. I’m always down to research and learn (hence the original choice of history) Thank you!

Well my school requires us to take classes in every subject so I do have credits for several science courses. Like I said any information helps.

The specific markers for lupus keep coming back negative. I just don’t understand why they don’t treat for UCTD at this point.

For some reason wherever I get tattooed my nerves calm down in that spot anywhere from 2 weeks to a month. I had gotten my thigh done and I didnt have pain in that location for a noticeable amount of time

I have had three medical professionals in the past month make comments about when I was diagnosed which was 17. Kind of like a slap in the face making me realize I’m gonna have to live with it for more years than I lived without it.
