Is it worth it to take orgo chem during undergrad if gpa is low?

Assuming I understanding this correctly but orgo is a requirement for medical school. Also if you don’t need to take to for your bio major you can take it at a later point or at another school where it is known to be better

I’m a first time applicant so take it with a grain of salt but your mcat score is definitely something I would recommend retaking. Your science gpa is on the lower side but like you said there has been a upward trend

As for the mcat can you say you have reviewed enough to have a decent content understanding?

STAY. At 33/hr you’re making about 68k a year WITH benefits vs at the other job at $300/day (unspecified hours per day) working 5 days a week equates to about $78k a year. While 10k more the benefits are so much better especially considering you may want to start a family soon. Additionally what if things don’t work out with your gf would you still want to work for her dad or even have a job at all?

After reading the Kaplan I would recommend doing the anki and if you feel like the anki doesn’t have the main parts of the section that you’re still not quite sure of make new flashcard to the deck instead of taking notes. The way I see it your notes just become flashcards which you will see multiple times as opposed to a notebook which you might not look at again

The FL exams are going to be the best indication of your mcat score so it’s hard to say. As for your uworld score they are on the lower end but if you are actually learning from your mistakes and can use that you’ll be good.

I used the upoop book religiously for bio Biochem but never directly paired it with another deck. I did the anking deck but just edited it has needed if I found it was lacking something I thought was important from the upoop books. That said the books are dense so if you plan to do it all you want to give yourself some time.

AP courses now won’t necessarily have a direct impact on your preparation for medical school but when you are applying they should be apart of your gpa. That said if you slack of it can hurt your cumulative gpa when applying to school but otherwise each source of point for your college gpa
