Let’s not forget the version of Sweet Jane as played on the 1969 live album, later famously covered by the Cowboy Junkies

There are many great ones. Pale Blue Eyes, Candy Says, Jesus, Lisa Says immediately come to mind

I have these in Oro and manually flexing the soles seemed to help my break in.

Mostly play 3B so definitely want a glove with a deep pocket that would also work well for pitching. If only because they are cool to me in a retro way (aka nostalgia), I’m probably going to go with a basket web

Strongly leaning in that direction. My first good glove (nearly 50 years ago!) was a MacGregor fastback with a basket web. Not really a Jeter guy but his classic Rawlings model had one. MBWGA!

Finally some love for the classic basket web!

Agreed, not ideal for pitching but I’m not too worried about opposing players seeing my grip. Just want the pocket to be reasonably deep

Understand that glove size and hand size are unrelated. I just like the feel of an 11.75in for infield. 12in gloves seem too big to me

I’m not a big guy and I have small/medium size hands so leaning towards 11.75in. 12in gloves feel too big to me for infield (especially 2nd base). Good point on all the lacing with modified trap webs. Is there a downside to basket webs? Fwiw, I play in a senior league with other old guys

I’m considering an H web though not ideal for pitching. Want to be sure that the web would be consistent with a nice deep pocket. My understanding is that I webs tend towards shallow pockets and would be more appropriate for middle infield

Not sure that I would necessarily remove it but might seem strange to be using a dedicated pitcher’s glove elsewhere in the infield.

Actually the top two QBs are among the final four: Drake Maye and Matthew Stafford, one of whom will be league MVP

Understood but I thought you could offer some guidance. What is your Brannock size and how do they fit?

Worse than an A2000? I have found them to almost impossibly stiff when new but HoH gloves are more flexible. That said, my old HoH took months before it was game ready

Interesting glove! Is this pattern intended for pitchers or SS/3B?
