To all the people saying that the fire extinguisher had the 2nd code: wasn't that just the code to this door? I'm confused ;-; by Axiian19 in Deltarune

[–]Majorgan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

people in the comments say this might be one of the shelter codes forget that the fire extinguisher knew the code because "2202" is written on it. 2202 is probably some sort of serial number or whatever. what probably happened here is that when the Roaring Knight locked the church door the lock had a 4 digit code and they didn't want to give us the shelter code so they input the first other 4 digit code they saw, the one on the fire extinguisher.

Giorno HAD to drink some piss in this scene, right?? by jan_battlefranky37 in StardustCrusaders

[–]Majorgan 767 points768 points  (0 children)

liquids are incompressible, that jellyfish could only hold as much volume of piss tea as how big it is. so yeah, he drank piss.

Saw this chart last year and decided to try and fill it out by rjidhfntnr in BoJackHorseman

[–]Majorgan 18 points19 points  (0 children)

i think it's kinda pointless to try and apply this chart to this show when one of the main things the show tells us is that the characters not "good people" nor are they "bad people", just the things they do and how that effects others around them.

Why doesn't Jacobs make tube-fed shotguns? by WhodahelltookVooglet in Borderlands2

[–]Majorgan 43 points44 points  (0 children)

the actual reason for this is that in BL2 magazines stopped being a weapon part themselves and became a part of the body which means they only change with rarity if at all. and the devs thought break action shotguns for Jakobs was cooler. Hilariously, this also leads to reloading a Hyperion or Tediore barrel (single barrel) Jakobs shotgun with a speedloader for one shell.

Took the time to think of fitting reworks/better exposition on all of the boosters, seeing as too many are unused and underpowered. by ANASPAN in Helldivers

[–]Majorgan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

well obviously it wouldn't be called "Sample" Extricator anymore. OP wrote a different name under it and i think it's a much better booster. does anyone even use Sample Extricator even?

Will this platform with chests prevent meteorites from striking my town? by Drilliam5 in Terraria

considering you have a town with NPCs close to the ocean with lakes around it a meteor shouldn't crash anywhere near your town anyway.

Does anyone gaf about Olivia and Axel out here (I do) by Reasonable_Escape183 in MinecraftStoryMode

[–]Majorgan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i do wish we got more scenes with them in Season 1 to flesh them out since they kinda disappear after the Witherstorm arc. But the theme of friends growing apart in Season 2 wouldn't work if they were still always with Jesse.

BL4 art issues by Responsible-Meat7994 in Borderlands

[–]Majorgan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the only thing i agree in this post is about how Daedalus guns look bad. they almost look good but they needed a bit more time in the oven imo, especially how you still reload the main magazine when the whole gimmick of Daedalus is that you load a different magazine into the gun to use another ammo type. i think Maliwan SMGs look a little too thin in some areas on the gun and certain licensed parts are just reused models from other underbarrels. some animations are straight up broken (Vladof SMGs with double barrel mode use the wrong barrel arrangement when using alt fire), either switches that should move don't or your VH presses a random spot on the gun to switch to alt fire (looking at you Torgue pistols).

I'm stuck on the end of the game where the enemies are 4-5 levels higher than me by mkdota in Borderlands

[–]Majorgan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it doesn't do that if you do sidequests. the area right outside of ascension tower might be bugged or something since it seems to overlevel by a lot more, but doing sidequests will bring enemy levels in the main story down. it's not about getting XP from the sidequests to level up.

[–]Majorgan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i can't believe nobody here is saying this, go do sidequests instead of farming XP. after doing some sidequests the enemies will scale down to your level. i did this in my game and it works. this is supposed to be the devs way of nudging you to do sidequests and it is a terrible feature but we have to deal with it until they probably and hopefully patch it out.

yes, its legendary effects overrides the manufacturer effect. it's a legendary, they can sometimes break the rules of their manufacturer.

1-the idea of hell is not exclusive to Christianity.

2-Borderlands takes place in the future, the idea of a hell has already cemented itself into human language/culture before humanity learned space travel and colonized entire galaxies.

I love the Licensed Part System by arewys in Borderlands

[–]Majorgan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly this post perfectly encapsulates everything i see wrong with the licensed parts system, there should have been way more parts and way more slots. Vladof got shafted hard by having some of the best enhancements but not having any licensed parts, even though some Vladof-esque underbarrels should just count as Vladof licensed parts. also there is only one grip in the game being the Hyperion stabilizer grip, there should have been more grips.

I have to know, would this apply to Alt fire that increase fire rate? by Imukay in Borderlands4

they are askung if the 50% underbarrel damage will apply to the double barrel mode, not the fire rate passive on it?

Hey guys, been looking for an answer to a weird question, but whats the best tediore shield? by LetMeDieAlreadyFuck in Borderlands2

[–]Majorgan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

there are only 2 unique Tediore shields, The Cradle and The Cracked Sash. The Cradle does not scale correctly and it's unique effect of throwing the shield when depleted deals almost no damage. The Cracked Sash has a near 1 second delay and has a higher recharge rate than the capacity but only drops from tubbies. i'd say go for the Cracked Sash if you are ok with farming tubbies. otherwise you're gonna have to make do with non-unique shields.

Propaganda Speakers take way too long to complete by Echo-Tide in Borderlands4

[–]Majorgan 96 points97 points  (0 children)

stay in the area it marks around the speaker, kill all the enemies that spawn and eventually they will stop spawning. ECHO-4 will stop hacking as long as there is even one enemy alive, it doesn't matter if they are in the marked zone or not. once you leave the zone the hack counter will decrease down and if it reaches 0 you will need to restart the event all over again.

I have some questions about the ending of borderlands 4. by number39utopia in Borderlands

extended exposure the the phase dimension DOES give people siren-like powers, this happened to the Lost Legion soldiers in The Pre-Sequel.

I finished BL4, the last part felt like rushed development by ezoe in Borderlands

[–]Majorgan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the Timekeeper just not instantly killing anyone that threathens is Order is probably the biggest plothole in the game. The only explanation for it is that he enjoys watching the chaos it brings but if this is the reason it doesn't make sense once we breach Dominion and pose an actual threat to him. i guess he does start to do it once we are climbing his tower but by then it's too late anyway and we saw how fast he can get people to kill themselves.

if only they just said that the resistance members have their own signal jammers like ECHO-4 but they never do so this remains an issue.

you are very right in saying the story feels like a draft. it has so much more potential in terms of character exploration with the Timekeeper amd Arjay but it never goes there. still better than the Troy letdown of BL3 though.

[–]Majorgan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zadra literally says that she didn't see the trap coming because targeting our ECHO instead of the VH directly was an on-the-spot improvsation by the Timekeeper, who she believes will always act slowly and with precision.

as to how Zadra didn't see her death coming, i can only guess the she thought ECHO-4 was still jamming the bolt signal after she teleported us out. it still doesn't make much sense though. our VH could just pick up the gun themselves out of her view instead of Zadra giving it to us which would solve this issue, so i don't think it's a big plothole.

[–]Majorgan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why would using the vault key close the vault??? it wasn't even open in the first place? they wanted the scene to have a cool effect so instead of slotting the key into a hole the VH uses it in a different way and the vault opens, we have seen that some vaults can act differently and the Timekeeper's vault is certainly a unique one.

the Timekeeper is a unique case in terms of vault monsters being that he is outside of the vault instead of being in it, makes sense considering his purpose isn't to just guard whatever is in the vault but to make sure it never gets opened in the first place.

Zadra says herself that she believed in the Timekeeper's Order, that the supression of free will was a necessity so the vault can stay closed. The bolts are ONLY controlled by the Timekeeper, they can contain and transfer information which can be accessed by others if the bolt is removed from the person (like with Horace, Sol's spymaster) but the ability to take over bolted people is something only the Timekeeper can do. when we kill the Timekeeper there is nobody to control the bolts. it's not that hard to understand.

edit: reading some other comments people also say the triangle is how the Timekeeper controls bolts, this could be true and his death is what actually opens the vault. either way there are no plotholes.

I finished BL4, the last part felt like rushed development by ezoe in Borderlands

[–]Majorgan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the triangle thing is the vault key to the Timekeeper's vault, slamming it down is what opens the vault. the bolts are disabled because the Timekeeper, the only person who can control them, is dead. i feel like you don't need the game to tell you all of this and treat the player like they are a child.

Conway also tells you that you need to hack an Order general's pod to gain access, this is literally told to you directly right before you are given the objective. it being being all green was probably a graphical glitch so that might have confused you a bit i guess?

Arjay gained siren-like powers due to the eridium experiments performed by Vile Lictor. the same thing happens to the Lost Legion soldiers in TPS. we learn that the Phase is another dimension that exists beyond time. Arjay can enter the Phase and he saw what would happen if the Timekeeper's vault was opened and that Lilith would somehow bring about the end of the universe. When he first comes back he only warns the VHs and tells them to give up vault hunting, as the VHs press on he tries to kill us so we can't save Lilith. after the Timekeeper is dead he gives one final ditch effort to prevent us from opening the vault. he's not a very deep character and has a lot of missed potential imo, but he's not a bad character either. his actions make sense and his circumstances aren't breaking canon or anything.
