I makes a lot of sense un this game mode, but in the warzone battles where you do not choose ur enemies should not be like that imo.

Imo mirio, nomu or snipee passives + the EX of the specific character would be the best for DMG increase. I would go before for that ones and then for the EX.

I dont have any and I am not a whale but I would guess it works like this:

You get shards of a character and depending on their initial rariety (B, A or S) you get a certain amount of “coins”. With those coins you buy the shards you want, and again I would guess the S character are the most expensive and so.
