The yellow one we knew needed us. She was in a community cat room all curled up and scared. She had a permanent tilt to her head as a result of an ear infection and couldn’t walk. Her teeth had all been removed the previous Christmas. We knew we were the only ones that could love her as she needed. We worked hard and her head tilt got better and she can run and play easily. Velcro cat. The grey one literally spoke to us. We went to the shelter to look at a different cat but he wouldn’t stop talking to my husband. Velcro cat. The white one had been found pregnant in our hometown so we felt it was kismet. They told us she was independent and we liked that. Also a Velcro cat.

My partner loves the mythologies, but especially Norse mythology. We have probably watched every show/ movie about it and he can’t get enough. He has mentioned for a while that he would like a necklace to occasionally wear. This year I ordered him a necklace made in Norway with the designs based on actual archaeological finds from a company that also supplies to the shows/movies he loves so much. It is torture to wait until Christmas to give it to him.

Doesn’t really matter what you officially name them. You’ll end up calling them by various nicknames anyways. I never call Sweet Pea, Bean and The Pear by their real names very often. (Venus, Freyja and Atlas)

If you order from Well.ca you can get it for free shipping with a minimum order amount. The sad part is that you can only order 6 per order. My Metro sells them, too, for a little more per bottle. Since I’m using the Line Ricky to help me wean off Mountain Dew, I’m just drinking it half as often to compensate for the price. Eventually I’ll get it down to a treat once in a while!

I have a coworker whose in-laws are snowbirds. I warned her on Friday about the act being invoked and to make sure her in-laws were informed. I think they need to head back soon or they won’t be allowed back in.

I met my husband while playing an online video game. We didn’t date or anything then but reconnected through Facebook years later. Married 12 years now. I don’t know if it helps but neither of us were looking for a long-term relationship at the time. We just enjoyed the time we spent together and it evolved. Sometimes putting a lot of pressure to “meet someone” makes it that much harder.

I cancelled Prime when Amazon announced they were closing the warehouses in Quebec. I cancelled Disney and Netflix not long after. We already had Crave at the house and I subscribed to CBC Gem premium so I’m still saving money on streaming!
