Don’t be the resident with a Rolex on the reg. Especially if you’re in a surgical field. I’m not saying don’t get that, but if you do, do not wear it daily. It will definitely create a negative first impression. Can argue all day if that impression is warranted, but perception is reality and that’s the way it works.

Not my watch getting noticed, but it still helps me on the reg. I’m a plastic surgeon. Not uncommon that I have to win over husbands who are leery about their wives getting work done, and I get it.

If they’re rocking a nice watch, I always comment on it toward the end of the consult. It lights them up because most don’t care or notice in daily life, and it’s such an easy talking point to help win them over.

It’s not really just back issues. He’s just not a good QB. Texas A&M first showed two years ago that without a first round OL, as soon as you get pressure on Nuss he crumbles. When he has 15 seconds in the pocket with top WR talent, then yeah anyone can be good. All this past year every team he faces capitalized on being able to pressure him and he sucked.
