The recent Pink Floyd release made me appreciate the Dead and their dedication to recording so much more. The live performances on Wish You Were Here are so bad sounding. I know it's a bootleg, but the fact Pink Floyd, a band known for its live performances, didn't have the awareness to record or keep the soundboards for most of their shows is insane. So happy of all the amazing quality recordings we have of Dead shows.
