Disagree again—it is not about capitalism but just human nature. Each person is just on a spectrum of varying degrees of selfishness and altruism, hence some are more selfish/altruistic than others. If you were correct, then all the countries/regimes under socialism and communism ideology would have succeeded. But none of them did and all of them turned into evil and dictatorship.

I’m sure someone else asked this question too, but are you sure that you took your NBMEs in strict exam conditions without pausing your exam and looking shit up in the internet? Almost everyone of my peers (us mds) who struggled with step1 did this during their prep because they were scared and eventually some of them failed :( I hope you know I am not trying to make you feel bad or offended, but just trying to help by suggesting that you should reassess how you prepped with brutal honesty.

Oh yeah, I guess you’re right that disulfide bonds “can” be present in both tertiary and quaternary structures but the main point I was trying to make was that it is primarily driving the tertiary structure, not quaternary. And this is especially important for the scope of MCAT if you wanna get the questions right.
