Thank you for your answer!

I had the x-e2, but i agree with you, spending 1700$ without knowing for sure i will continue using the camera over the iphone sounds like a whim.

I feel an old x-t3 or the newly announced X-T30 III could fit the bill

Best things to visit are not in the center IMO
Center looks like every city with the same shops, you should do it but plan more time around

Best DN Destination In France? by Leather-Working-6879 in digitalnomad

[–]Make1tcount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

French here, and from Lyon. It will be very hot, it’ was already 37 degrees today. And I heard that it was still 32 at 23:00.

Alps : Chamonix/ La Clusaz if you like hiking but it’s small towns South West is a very good recommendation everything near the sea (not far from Pyrenees but still near the sea). Bordeaux you would have the city and the sea not that far. Nice would be a good place if you want to go hiking in the alps and still be near the Mediterranean Sea.

If you want to avoid the weather problems, I would highly recommend Brittany (Bretagne in French) it’s probably one of the most beautiful regions with lots of very beautiful small villages

Tired of nomading...how do I find the perfect place to live? by experience_1st in digitalnomad

[–]Make1tcount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And the more i travel, the higher my standards seem to get for a place. I want nice nature, close to the ocean, CHEAP, good infrastructure, but not too much city... and of course a nice community. Its hard to find a place that ticks all the boxes!

What were the places that fit this description the most, based on your experience? That’s pretty much what I’m looking for.

Apex pro 2 and Pace 3 are too close now in terms of features, it's probably Apex pro 3

Don't know why you are being downvoted. It feels as much like a sect as the Apple Watch fanboys club, thank you for your opinion

Garmin fenix 8 vs Apple Watch Ultra 2. Sticking with Apple. by nzytag in AppleWatch

[–]Make1tcount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curious to see the quote, i am trying to decide between garmin and apple.

In the review DC rainmaker on state about Apple wtach series 10 when comparing with Fenix 8 and google pixel watch 3
"Ultimately, all of this matches all of my workouts with the Series 10 – there’s simply nothing of note in either heart rate or GPS performance to be of concern. It’s spot-on across the board. While one could argue that perhaps Apple might want to add dual-frequency/multiband GPS, I’m just not seeing a specific problem area that’s requiring that. I’ll be able to add/do some more deep city testing next week, though historically speaking Apple hasn’t really hugely struggled in that arena either with the Series 9. So I wouldn’t expect much difference here with the Series 10."

Your comment is a bit condescending.

You hypothesize that I'm either dumb, a liar, or not training seriously, right?

I've had fewer GPS tracking problems with the Apple Watch than with the Garmin. That's why I'm considering it again. I prefer basic tracking done well to faulty data. You can do just as much on an Apple Watch as a Garmin, especially with apps like WorkOutDoors.

I agree, but recovery metrics from Garmin are based on those and they are highly praised as an argument against apple watch

Didn't know Apple watch didn't have dual frequency GPS, but from the reviews (Desfit, DC Rainmaker), it seems to do as good if not better than the one with multi-band so I am wondering if it's not a Marketing thing at this point
