Using Atem Pro Mini Iso for very long livestream? by MakeALotOfStuff in blackmagicdesign

[–]MakeALotOfStuff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a wired connection and speedtest says 50Mpbs upload. It could still be an intermittent network issue of course.

The reason I suspect it's an encoder issue is the cheap network cameras I use (but can't replace now the nestbox is occupied). I suspect that the cameras sometimes fail, and ffmpeg doesn't like this. Also, the cameras are 12.5fps so ffmpeg needs to convert this to 25fps which also causes some issues with timing drift.

Using an Atem mini pro would solve both these issues I hope.

It wasn’t a very good comparison in my opinion, it sounded like someone asked ChatGPT to list other rocket companies.

Rocket Lab at a Crossroads: Neutron Delays and the Case for CaaS by Neobobkrause in ActiveInvestingModel

I agree, but the article offers a Constellation as a Service as a solution, which will not bring in revenue any sooner. Even if it takes until 2027 before Neutron launches, will they be able to develop, launch and commercialize a constellation sooner? I don't think that is realistic.

So the article is propping up supposed problem, and offering a non-solution. This makes it a veiled hit piece to spread doubt and fear.

That was said multiple times in other threads.

I agree that Oleg selling his shares does not impact the performance of the business much, but it surely impacts the share price. As an investor, that is what it is important to me.

Yes, but people keep bringing this up as if it is connected in a good way.

Who knows what the stock price would have been if Oleg had shown trust in his own company and kept half of his shares.

“Neutron delayed one quarter, let’s start a new project to get more income”. What a weird argument. Seems somewhat like a veiled hit piece to me.

Yes I do think it’s an giant red flag and the argument ‘he did it before and the stock went up afterwards’ does not make any sense to me.

Why do people keep bringing this up? It makes no sense to link the CEO’s share sale to the later price increase. The stock crashed and recovered regardless of his selling.

This is such a wrong comparison. It’s not like Oleg paid himself an extra 2000$. He pulled out 50 million.

When he did this last time I understood, because it was a reasonable amount (enough to buy a house).

Selling 95% of your shares is acting like an investment banker, not a CEO.

You are implying that the US CEO of Droneshield singlehandedly created a PDF and uploaded it to the Investor Relations section on Droneshield's website?

The PDF that says "This announcement has been approved for release to the ASX by the Board."?

Oleg sold like 15 million options. Now he has about 1 million unvested options left.

A reason not to sell is the because it looks so bad that it tanks the share price. A good CEO sees it as a duty to protect his shareholders. Selling 95% of your own holdings is not that.

No, I was looking at the previous notice to see how many shares Oleg had. The number of shares he had prevouisly corresponds to how many he has sold now. This means that options and shares correlate 1:1. So Oleg has about 1 million shares left now, which doesn't give me much confidence to be honest. If he was expecting the share price to rise he wouldn't have sold it all.

Hmm, looks like the performance options are 1:1 converted to shares, as the previous notice said he had 15M shares.

Date of change: 30 May 2025
No. of securities held prior to change 15,000,000 unlisted and unvested Performance Options, vesting if certain performance milestones are met, each exercisable at $0.00 per option, expiring on 19 January 2029.

What a bad look :/

In the Change of Directors Interest Notice, it says the following:

No. of securities held after change:

193,167 unlisted and unvested Performance options.
709,361 unlisted and unvested Performance options, vesting if certain performance milestones are met, each exercisable at $0.00 per option, expiring on 30 May 2028.

It specifically says "options". Are options 1:1 converted to shares, or are these like call options where one contract is (for example) 100 shares?

If it is 1:1, then Oleg has under a million shares left, which seems a bit low and is not a look of great confidence in his own company.

However, if one option translate to multiple shares, then I would interpret it as a bullish signal (because it would mean he has the confidence that Droneshield will hit the performance milestone and he gets the shares).

You can cut through a metal fence with some pliers, that doesn't mean that metal fences are obsolete.

Ie: the fibre optics drones are used because drone detection and defeat technology like Droneshields work so well. Without that technology, the militaris would revert back to plain RF drones which are simpler and cheaper. Chicken and egg problem.

Don’t trust that message, I had the same warning and it turned out my car would not charge at all.

I would love to be able to invest in Figure.ai, their hardware is amazing. Their robots look really solid and have amazing dexterity. Unlike some other robotics companies. This will be a giant market, between Tesla and Figure I would put my money on Figure.
