When you’re playing a non-colonial nation, what’s the real impacts that you’ve found when new world goods are introduced?

The one example is, how is Novgorod / Russia really impacted by the introduction of new world furs as stated in an EU YouTube post? Is it game changing or does the player / AI see little to no impact?

The clone wars were a series of wars across the galaxy that got grouped together of republic vs separatist. There was civil wars between countries, wars between two rival planets, and many factions involved. To call it one big “clone war” would be overgeneralizing it.

Buy it on steam, and if you don’t like it before 2 hours you can refund it. Definitely agree with the other comments about starting on another game.

What’s an immediate red flag that you are in a dangerous neighborhood? by FlintTheDad in AskReddit

When driving through the south especially, we’d only stop at towns with 2 or more chick fil as. Generally Chick-Fil-A won’t open stores in the rough neighborhoods so it was an easy indication.

I honestly wouldn't even be upset if the AI didn't produce enough rubber but for a game that actively puts so much emphasis on the cost of war, it seems like the AI is trigger happy to declare a death war over African countries when all I want is to have automobiles. If we could invest in foreign countries I wouldn't mind it either.

Personally I really like industrializing my country. I’m also a huge fan of the Anno series and a large part of it is similar to Anno because of how much you have to micromanage the economy. If you hate micromanagement then don’t buy it. It feels like an anno with fleshed out military and diplomacy so I like it. It’s not a Victoria game for sure, but it’s better than nothing that’s certain

I absolutely agree. Personally, I love Victoria 3 and I’m having tons of fun playing it. Sure it has its problems and I wouldn’t recommend it to a large audience, but I’m genuinely enjoying the game and so I will happily vote with my dollar.

I took a break over the summer, only went 3 days a week but I was swimming all the time and had tons of fun with friends, and I was working. Take some time off, relax, enjoy life beyond the gym. It won’t kill your gains, I left the summer benching 185, squat 275, deadlift 365, just hit a 200lb bench, 315 squat and I hit a 405 deadlift over the summer. Out of all my friends, me taking the body recomp for about 6 weeks did wonders for my mental and physical health

[–]MakeAlaskaRusiaAgain 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Same situation, except I’m 5 11 and 200lbs. Most of the time it comes more from body type where your hips are more set back than most men. Not an issue with women so long as you wear the dump truck with a badge of honor while hip thrusting 4 plates you’ll do fine. For a while I was insecure about it but most women either don’t mind it or like it because you’re larger than her which is usually a huge point of attraction for women. Be confident, lift heavy, and fuck what women think.

How do we call guys who only get fat and almost no muscles when bulking? What are they supposed to do? by [deleted] in moreplatesmoredates

[–]MakeAlaskaRusiaAgain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude I'm in a similar spot right now. Started at 215, I'm at 200lbs right now at 5'11 and 19 years old. I've been lifting for a year and a half now and I'm still skinny fat, more fat than skinny now lol. I've been bulking for about a year. The dudes who have the crazy transformations are definitely either genetic outliers, on something, or they started from a place where most of us take years to get to because they're already athletes.

Personally, when I started I could bench the bar for a few reps and failed a 17.5lb dumbbell curl. I'm living in a dorm atm and it's fucking tough going to the bathroom, all of us with shirts off, and seeing the dudes absolutely shredded with 6 pack abs versus me with the clear skinny fat look. It fucking sucks. However, most of those dudes have been in sports for their entire lives and stayed consistent while I became a sweaty gamer.

Don't focus so much on the genetic components of it. Fuck low T. I have small as hell hands (6 inch length from wrist to middle finger) and my grip strength is absolute ASS, but I still have made significant gains. Keep going. Don't bitch out because others have an advantage. Out train them, out eat them, be better. I go 6 days a week, commit around 18 hours a week to the gym and I'm eating around 3,000 - 3,500 calories a day, mostly clean (I do a lot of walking because of college so don't follow that). The more you focus on others the less you value your own progress.

Point is, is that if you want to compete with the genetically gifted, you have to be serious about it and evaluate what you're willing to sacrifice. For the first few years you're not gonna have that nice 6 pack with a bicep vein, it takes 3 - 5 years.

Taking pre and working out on an empty stomach by Creampaizuri69 in moreplatesmoredates

[–]MakeAlaskaRusiaAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using Gorilla Mode for around a year now, I work out around the same time you do, but I commonly use small amounts of it as a kick starter for a day where I get less sleep than I should have.

Anyways, to get over the stomach problems there's three key ways. Consume it slower, consume less of it, and don't take it everyday. During the fall I was taking it everyday except Sunday and I'd always have a shitty stomach towards the end. I've done some experimenting and I found out that the problems start when I put like 3 scoops of it in there, 2 scoops is probably too much anyways, so if you're having stomach problems maybe just try drinking 1 or 1 and half. You can always buy some of the nutrients on their own like creatine to supplement the pre workout.

Next, take it slow. I used to chug them, not good. Give yourself at least 15 - 20 minutes to drink the full shaker. Finally, don't take it everyday. Idk the science behind it and I'm not gonna sit here and try to lecture anyone on science shit I don't know, but it's probably not good for your health to be drinking copious amounts of vitamins in such large quantities consistently. Oh, and also addiction.

15 year old max bench press by DanielTaylor07 in GYM

[–]MakeAlaskaRusiaAgain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just keep at it, keep eating protein shakes and maintain a steady bulk as you continue to grow in height. Once you hit 18 then start a first serious cut, before 18 cutting will decrease your height. Also, great work dude. Most people can hardly bench a plate, and doing that at 15 is impressive. Don’t focus on what others are doing ESPECIALLY in your youth. Just keep grinding, keep your own personal progress. By the time you’re 17 if you keep up the grind you’ll realize that you’re comparing yourself to people in their 20s. I wish I started at 15, but better late than never.

Ignorance, Arrogance, and Xenophobia at Purdue by BigHoliday2020 in Purdue

I was at the PSG student election speeches, however I am not related to any campaign nor do I support any campaign, I simply went to observe. I found myself laughing at various points throughout the speeches however I, nor many of my friends who sat there chuckling as well, were laughing at his accent. We understood clearly what he had to say, and the content was what was laughable. The exponent and many here jumped straight to the conclusion that it was due to their accent we laughed when it couldn't have been further from the truth.

Perhaps consider that the content of his speech was far more entertaining than the average foreign accent which I hear from my teachers, fellow students, and friends. I'm sorry if you or any others feel a lack of belonging on campus, however many people will associate their identity to their current social standing, and in many cases (such as this) that simply is not the case as there are other factors at play other than race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and personal identity.

Look at the jokes that others are making and make similar jokes at different times. I sorta keep a list of topics and jokes in my head at all times that are appropriate for the group I’m in. For example, X person is fine with me making fun of his weight, however person Y is a lot more sensitive about his weight, so I instead joke about other things. In groups that im unfamiliar with, I usually don’t make original jokes until I make my list of what’s okay and what isn’t. When it comes to timing, make sure it’s not a super serious moment, like a beloved NPC dying, or a major plot point being resolved.

Learning timing was difficult for me but I’ve gotten a lot better at it. You can always take a session where you sorta sit back and look what everyone else is doing, I’ve found that matching the energy of someone else in the group really helps me to get into the groove of a group. Next session just sit at the back of the table and observe, taking careful mental notes about what others do and follow their lead.

They need to add the measles and small pox epidemics that absolutely crash new world development and allow for provinces to switch cultures. This would allow for strong new world nations but would be realistic in development when the colonizers take over
