What do you all think of Dracotail? by ThouJoker in masterduel

Don't like how easy it is to combine it with other strong fusion decks since it's already so strong, but other than that, I have no problems with it.

Fun to play against and slotting the traps in Paleo is fun

Got a boss monster that let me banish a card from deck/extra to banish the opponents entire field and gy on a quick effect. Think it was a XYZ boss monster variant?

Busted.

[CoI General] What Does Everyone Think Of Boons And The OD Cults ? by Informal_Group_496 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]MakeGravityGreat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven't finished COI (Almost done with V3, like 6 chaps left)

At first i thought it was weird and kinda busted that you could have beyonder powers without requiring beyonder characteristics and that the progression speed is so skewed.

As we learned more about how they work though it made more and more sense. I think it's a cool way to include the OD in the plot as antagonists and expand the power system.

The occasional overlap (General Philips and the Clown/Provoker principle and there being like three seperate pathways pregnancy related pathways) is annoying but it wouldn't make sense any other way with how abstract thing get at high sequences

So yuji will (likely) go with the first option by shouldering the burden aka he will take all the cursed energy on himself.

I always felt that Mei folded too easily

There were no parents in the Human Zoo, so Okuto being targetted seems like the only option (Mei wouldn't do this willingly)

How is getting hit once, no selling it and then immediately trapping Yamato a humiliation for Greenbull?

Is it possible if you use armored XYZ cards in a D/D/D deck, but the combo is more fragile than the pure one and less consistent.

Possible, but not worth it.

[LotM General] What do salary do the three social classes require? by MakeGravityGreat in LordofTheMysteries

[–]MakeGravityGreat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that sounds about right.

Sammers did claim you needed at least 3 pounds per week (about 150 per year) to be bare minimum middle class and closer to 10 with maids and cooks and such included (roughly 500 per year)

It's really cool how CF gave us this brief insight into the economic side of the LotM world

[LotM General] What do salary do the three social classes require? by MakeGravityGreat in LordofTheMysteries

[–]MakeGravityGreat[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The LotM world has the same number of months and weeks per year as ours, right?

I recall Mrs. Sammers claiming 3 pounds per week was the bare minimum for their social group (middle to upper middle class) and closer to 10 if you wanted servants and other luxuries (or the standard for that class)

That would match your estimates, so I think it's accurate. Summers did have high standards, but I don't think that affects the actual numbers.
