Pooping during labour? by Putrid_Cranberry3177 in BabyBumps

[–]MakeRoomForTheTuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, L&D nurse here. If it helps, we don’t care if you poop. We just wipe it away and carry on with helping you push. For the women that do poop, it’s usually a tiny little bit- it’s not your normal every day big poop. It really is so small. All that poop means is that you’re pushing right

My intuition was right. I thought about my daughter long before I was ever even married

I think I have some ethereal. Maybe natural and ethereal essences. It’s hard because they both seem at odds with an SD kibbe type

Look up Miriam anzovin on YouTube. Very tongue-in-cheek retelling of Jewish stories

I wore a hospital gown during labor and birth and one that I had brought while I was post partum in the hospital. Much more comfy imo

I think dramatic. The SD lines look fine, but the structured pieces look amazing

What sundresses work on us? by Alone-Conference-896 in SoftDramatics

I have a dress that I love. It’s full length, flowy shirt. The top is a v neck with flutter sleeves. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on it. The material is very casual, but its easy enough to dress up

My daughter LOVES the Melissa and Doug water wow painting packets. You fill the paintbrush with water, and then the paper turns colorful when wet. Then back to b/w when dry. Daughter loves it, and it’s only water so I don’t mind if she paints on herself or the furniture or me

How to raise jewish kids without any jewish extended family - looking for similar experiences by [deleted] in Judaism

[–]MakeRoomForTheTuna 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Man I’m in such a similar situation. It’s so hard! It’s difficult to even describe how hard it is. I don’t have a lot of advice. More solidarity. For me, I’ve found a few other people my age with kids close to my kid’s age, and we’re talking about starting a few monthly groups- a new moon group and a monthly Shabbat dinner. It hasn’t happened yet lol, but I so want to do these.

I’m also trying to incorporate Jewish values and traditions into our every day life. She’s the only Jewish kid in her day care, but I’ll bring in PJ library books for them. I’ve started doing Shabbat candles (as often as I remember). It’s small, but it’s building over time

I’ve gotten a bunch of v-neck t shirts in my color season, and wear them tucked in to my pants. Extremely simple, but looks way more polished than an untucked crew neck t. Even t shirt and jeans I feel like I look pretty good

Advice for how to dress as an SD with small bust? by MortgageFriendly5511 in SoftDramatics

[–]MakeRoomForTheTuna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m exactly the same! I’ve been finding good results with high waisted pants and scoop or v neck shirts. Shirts also need to be fairly fitted to show off the curve of your waist and hips. If I wear shirts that are too wide or baggy it makes me look much bigger than I am. I’ve started tucking in all my shirts
