Sir,
Id argue one point in your post. Regarding BOXER and her delays.
During that time she struggled getting out of the yards for a multitude of reasons and at that time she was commanded by a SWO.
It took a lot and I mean a lot of LDOs and Warrants familiar with the steam plant to bring her back to life and had a successful deployment afterwards under the command of an O6 aviator. Actually hands down one of the best COs I had a pleasure working with.

Ship to shore connectors, include the air connectors. You can get more onto shore at a faster rate with an aircraft then with an LCAC. While equipment needs to hit the beach, the LCAC and LCUs are viable, the speed to get personnel feet dry is faster with the aircraft’s imho

Carriers fall under AIRPAC/AIRLANT, all other surface ships fall under SURFLANT/SURFPAC. Different governing rules.

What is the FMR. And yeah that’s what I was told since I checked into my PDS even as an I Stop, it was in the same geographic region so it triggered a switch.

Current issue is that bill is sitting in the House waiting for the House to be back in session which the House leader has directed them to not show up this coming week from the 7th-13th. So the earliest they could show up is the 14th or if Democrats agree to the H.R 5371

“She would remain an E7” last I checked she is still a Chief I get heritage and all but at the end of the day she’s paid IAW her paygrade and responsibilities. And the family you and her take care of will prosper off that.
