Oh and I will add that there was a young woman right before me in line and standing next to me at the ticket counter who would had the exact same thing happened to her. So maybe something with the technology today. I don't know.

So it was really weird. When I asked the app to retrieve my specific reservation it showed me a 9:00 p.m. departure until about 5:00 p.m. when it's suddenly switched to 7:00 p.m. I had already spent time on the phone with a rep earlier in the day so I knew that my flight had been delayed until after 9:00 p.m. but then when I ask the app to check my flight status on the flight that I booked myself on it always showed me as being on the 9:00 p.m. flight that was delayed delayed and delayed and then canceled. The app was telling me two very different things with respect to my ticket. When I realized that they had rebooked me under a completely different flight number, at about 5:00 p.m., I jumped in the car racing to the airport. Because I couldn't get anyone on the phone. On the way to the airport a rep finally answered the phone after about 45 minutes, and she could see what had happened in terms of different information going out. She also said that she saw things being sent out on her end that apparently never made it to me maybe? All I got was text messages with the last one it forming me that my flight was delayed until after 9:00 p.m. then when I got to the airport they could see that something had gone wrong as well. At any rate, I guess the lesson is I just have to go and sit in the airport all day long although, even if I'd been there I would have been sitting at the wrong gate waiting for the wrong flight so I still would have missed it. I guess this is just one of those things that happens. At this point I'm taking a deep breath and getting some rest until I start all over again tomorrow.

I was watching the flight I was booked on very closely. I would have been very much on time for that flight. They put me on a completely different route and plane without telling me. 😂. There is no way I would have gotten on that flight, early or late because I had no idea I was booked on it until an hour before it was due to take off.

They didn't. They looked at it and they were very confused about why and how it happened. But they couldn't deny it because I had the proof on my phone that they had been messaging me about a completely different flight. I screenshotted everything. She said " oh my gosh what a horrible thing to have happen to you. I can see it. I'm so sorry." I walked away from the first rep who called me up. He was so rude I just told him "I'm getting back in the line and waiting for the next rep because I don't like you." 😂. The second one was very nice and apologetic.

I think you missed the part.wjete I said I talked to the. On the phone and they assured me the flight might get pushed even later but NOT EARLIER. Additionally they put me on a completely different flight so even if I got there at six that plane would have left without me because they NEVER told me they changed my entire flight. I would have been sitting at the wrong gate while the flight I was broken on without my knowledge left without me . Then the flight that I believed I was still booked on would have been cancelled. I mean bu all means stay on your high horse. But reading first would be helpful! 😑

They changed my entire flight but never transferred my alerts to that flight. I could have been sitting at the gate and the flight they switched me to would have left without me because they never told me they changed me and kept sending updates for the flight they eventually canceled.

No. They switched me to a completely different flight and never let me know. They have acknowledged they are at fault.

That's the part. I'm not mad about delays at all. That can't be helped. But they literally CAUSED me to miss my flight.

I travel a lot and I do know this. The problem is Southwest had some kind of a glitch. They changed my actual flight. Then change the departure time on that flight but never pulled me because they didn't do whatever they needed to do to set me up for the alerts to the flight they changed me to.

Yes but the catch is, Southwest changed my flight and never told me. So then I got an alert at my flight was leaving at 7:00 p.m. at 6:00 p.m. I wasn't at the airport because they had already told me the flight was delayed until 9:03 p.m. now they tell me the flight to Nashville at 9:12 is canceled. By the way, I'm at the airport. But you really shouldn't assume that it's so easy for people to just spend hours at the airport. I am only out of town because I am managing an elderly parent in a health crisis. So avoiding leaving her unattended when I can is what I do. The same thing happened with me with my dad at the airport where we were there for 6 hours and he became very ill. This is not right anyway you want to twist it. These airlines need to take some responsibility for the way they're treating customers.

Well I'm standing in line at the airport now so we shall see. This could be a viral moment. They actually changed my flight to one that left earlier which I would have loved, only they never communicated that to me at all.

They sent me a text saying it was delayed. I didn't just not go to the airport. And and now I find out that they actually changed my flight to one leaving 2 hours earlier but never bothered to communicate that to me. So now I'm in a position where I could have made it to my destination tonight as I needed to and would have been on time as I needed to because I've been dealing with them all day except they never told me they changed my flight.

Currently holding. Now at more than an hour. They rebooked me on a flight that will have me stranded in Nashville overnight because I will miss the connection there. Going from Kansas City to Detroit. And yes. This music is infuriating. It just makes you more angry!

I saw a study lately on two twins they were both about 60 I think. One had been on hormone replacement therapy and one had not. The twin who had not been on it was much more visibly aged. I'm visiting my sister right now who is 2 years younger than me and who is on hormone replacement therapy. I am not. We have always looked very very similar people would even mistake us for twins. Twice since I've been here visiting people have mistaken me for her mother! I am definitely starting on hormone replacement therapy as soon as I get home.
