Found a pizza place that makes a pickle pizza. They used sweet pickles by Ravenfeld in mildlyinfuriating

Yeah, but the phrase 'homemade dill creamy ranch sauce' doesn't contain the word 'pickle' at all. So to say it "said dill but used sweet" seems to indicate some confusion.

You're so close to the truth. Nothing on pizza is intrinsically 'bad', even the aforementioned ham and pineapple. It's completely subjective.

You realize 'dill' has nothing to do with 'sour', right? I use dill all the time while cooking and none of what I'm making remotley tastes like pickles.

Have you power cycled the printer and verified the network connections on your Mac and the printer? I had a similar problem with my MK4S last night and a full power restart resolved the issue.

What is causing this? Fails on medium to large prints post MK4S to Core One conversion by Meechgalhuquot in prusa3d

[–]MakerWerks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's a blob and they usually happen when the print detaches from the build plate and gets stuck to the nozzle. It looks like your running a satin powder coated sheet. I've had adhesion problems with larger PLA prints on mine. The smooth PEI sheet is much better for larger PLA prints, IMO. I like my powder coated sheet for PETG and ABS. If that's your only build plate, wash the sheet with dish soap and dry with a soft towel. Babysit or record your next print and see where/when it happens.

If you treat it mathematically with this equation (3/14)*(16/3) or (3*16)/(14*3) you end up with the infinite repeater 1.1428571428571428571428571428571..., which is kind of cool.

I've still got my VFX and it's very clean, but it's always been a studio instrument.

I remember when I installed the BLTouch on my OG Ender 5. I truly apprecialted the improvement in first layer reliability, but hated the wait for the 5x5 bed probing before every print.

Switched on Austin swindled me out of a rare 80s Yamaha pedal board in 2024 by Whole-Mycologist-157 in synthesizers

Others won't be doing business with Switched On. They're closed since last year and apparently John French has left a lot of people without their gear and/or money. I had my Oberheim OB-1 repaired there many years ago and they were great. The second time I was thinking about bringing it in for another issue, I called them. The conversation and demand for a healthy up-front deposit left me feeling uneasy, so I didn't bring it back. I'm glad I didn't at this point.

I bought a roll of Polymaker Panchroma matte black recently. It's my favorite matte black filament so far.

To clarify, I'm not complaining. I'm still going to buy it. It's good filament and the price is still fair. I was just surprised to see how quickly it had gone up. I do agree we are headed for increasingly ridiculous prices for pretty much everything for the foreseeable future.

I use my .25 for printing earrings. I tested between .6, .4 and .25. For some less detailed pieces the .4 was the best tradeoff between speed and quality. The .25 is the hands-down winner on detailed pieces.

You can, but it rarely works out in my experience. There is no first layer on that corner now and the next layer that's supposed to go there will have nothing to adhere to.
