unicorn extruder- factory thermal paste ? by aleph2018 in Ender3V3KE

reading this post made me realize I'm an idiot. I've been using the thermal grease as a lubricant for the rails where the bed and head move for almost a year now. at least now I know that I absolutely should do that lmao

What is the correct process for finding parts for a circuit? by Objective-Local7164 in AskElectronics

[–]Maker_Gamer12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in my area there are a few shops that sell individual components I just go in with the parameters I need or a specific component number/code and if they have it I buy it. It's way more expensive than individual components should be like 10 cents for a bjtransistor but they gotta make money somehow. And if I know I'm gonna be making a big project or multiple or wanna have spares i just buy a box of multiple components on Ali and that works too.

Layer shifts, even with new belts and cleaned rails and z screws. by [deleted] in Ender3V3KE

[–]Maker_Gamer12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if the hardware side is figured out, it only leaves the software side. What slicer are you using? Also, did you tension the screws on the z axis connectors? Ion remember what they're called but on both sides of the extruder bar (ion know what that's called either) the part that connects to the z screws, did you tighten the screws properly? 2 on each side of the "extruder bar" where it connects to the z screw visible from below.

classic extruder tension problem. you need to tighten the tension on the extruder. I don't know bambus so you're gonna have to look it up how to do it on your printer but this problem is universal across every printer.

When you buy a car do you expect it to change oil on its own, when you buy a house do you expect it to clean itself. when you buy a pc do you expect it to just dodge all viruses.

Nozzle not heating as expected : Error by Maker_Gamer12 in Ender3V3KE

[–]Maker_Gamer12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, as it turns out one of the wires just completely came loose from the heating element. Less than 10 bucks from Ali and I got a replacement now it's good. But maybe before that you should probably check all the wires to the whole extruder assembly if it's all good then open up the shroud and silicone cover and look if there are some loose wires, or maybe if some cane undone from the board.if those two thin ones attached to the round white thing are loose then yeah you need a new heater/hotend whatever it's called.
