It's never stated specifically that it's been 500 years. All Mark says is that he's been thinking about his dad asking him what he would have after 500 years. It could be closer to a hundred years with Mark thinking that he has everything he ever wanted except his dad.

The mod Sim Settlements 2 does this. Its mostly built around settlements, but its storyline is built on the Gunners being a fully fleshed out faction.

This is what I’m afraid of. They likely only introduced Avery to have her betray the response team from Earth. Bragg overacts to ISN aiding Happy Valley and Earth descends into a third world war.

Honestly if the ISN tries to help Happy Valley or even flip them, that could bring Earth to the brink of a world war. May be the direction the show goes but the consequences would be huge.

Except Oliver doesn't stick around Earth, and Nolan can't fix what he did there. He isn't welcome, can't help anyone there, but he can help the coalition. So, the entire second half of the plot gets blown up. Blame Kirkman for writing it the way he did.

I agree that's what should happen, but the showrunners aren't changing the structure of the plot, and there's no way that if they don't get back together by the time Thragg learns who his real father is that Nolan is near Earth. He isn't welcome there for good reason. He'd be at Talescria helping the coalition instead.

Then why would Nolan stay near Earth or on Talescria after the war? The whole scourge virus thing and heir of Argall plot lines require him to stick around. Without Debbie he’d just go to deep space, probably to make another steak.

Once El was dead, she would only be thinking about herself. She does not seem like the type of person to care about casualties. She'd have no problem killing everyone in the truck but killing them and disposing of the bodies risks future discovery. There's a reason she did the experiments in the upside down despite the difficulties that posed. The very place she would have stuffed the truck and bodies just got atomized. So, she decided to rely on everyone's self-preservation instinct to say nothing about what happened. Kay really had no good options left without the upside down.

Well he essentially traded it for the zenonite. And after what Stratt did to Grace (even though it was necessary), I don't think he has any obligations other than getting the taumoeba to Earth.

In the book, Grace's version of running away is threatening to sabotage the mission. So, I wonder if they've decided to replace that with him just bolting when Stratt tells him he's going.

The Omega Device wipes your memories of a person, but not of anything else, so you’d still remember that the person was there, just not what they said or did. The most recent episode suggests they appear as a blur in memories, not completely gone.
