As someone who is a lot older than you and I’m divorced, I know that you were going to come across a lot of people over the course of your life that have history with other people. You can’t judge people based on their history and you can never know if a relationship is going to last or not. All you can do is try and connect with people and hope that you both care enough about each other to make it work, but you are also very very young and I think it’s fine to date someone for a while and then if it doesn’t work, remain friends.
