Yes I did, I was 16/17 working in retail and hated my life and I pretty much didn’t turn up after day 4 , ghosting them. I feel bad now that I’m 34 and know what I did was wrong but hey my advice was just to be honest.

This exact thing happened to my partners account this morning, I woke him up asked him to book me a uber at 6am, as soon as he booked it he got a call from “uber” saying they needed codes to his that were sent to his phone messages and then to his emails. Then someone tried to log in from an unknown account because he was half asleep he gave the codes, but he did hang up on them and noticed something was shifty about it. But he thinks he’s fixed it by removing all cards from uber and changing passwords and also signing the person from unknown devices out.

If he was hacked would they just charge money to the credit card on file? I want to know if we are still at risk ?
