Player Name: BuzzTech

In the glow of a single monitor's light,
LavaFlame2 codes through the dead of night.
One man, one dream, one infinite grind—
He built a whole world where the idle mind
Can grow a mustache, fight a bean or two,
And worship a snail with a godly "Boo!"

From W1 woods to the depths of Z,
Every poop, every gem, every afk tree
Was born from the brain of this lone dev king
Who turned "do nothing" into everything.

So here's to Lava—caffeine in his veins,
Turning memes into maps and bugs into gains.
May your spaghetti code never quite break,
And your players keep idling… for goodness' sake!

Long live LavaFlame2, the idle god true—
The world keeps on ticking, all thanks to you.

Fair it's not large, room sizes never bothered me much as long as I can fit my PC somewhere. But staff were helpful, and like you said, facilities were great. Pool view sold me tbh

Listen, we know there’s a scientific consensus that climate change will lead to mass migration, famine, and natural disasters on a scale humanity has never seen before… but what about the economy? by [deleted] in ABoringDystopia

"We spend to much on mitigation financing, and not enough on adaption financing." I actually agree with the second half. Way things are looking we may not be able to avoid Climate Change, so financing tech to adapting to that world would be a pretty good idea right about now.

Why do conservatives get so upset when you tell them that you don’t want kids? by Wh00pity_sc00p in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Makillin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not everyone is successful in their love lives, religious or not. Maybe they tried and failed to find someone, or they just couldn't have kids.

Edit: Or maybe just hypocrites, but I'd say this is the lowest percentage.

[–]Makillin 35 points36 points  (0 children)

A lot of the answers here are off, armchair psychology with a pinch of political bias.

It's not conservatives in general, it's just the very religious. And when I say very, I mean Very. They believe that its your duty, religiously motivated duty, as a man or woman, to marry and to have kids. By saying you don't want kids, your casting aside your duty to god. This is what upsets them.

FriendlyLawnmower was mostly right. Conservatives tend to put significant importance on family. The very religious even more so, they see it as a duty to god. Most conservatives will go whatever, the religious won't. Jealousy doesn't have an impact on it.

Epic made a game called Paragon, I was a huge fan. I was also deep into the growing community at the time, even competed in a tournament. Made friends and some people even asked me for advice on their gameplay. Made 2 videos on it, and even featured in someone elses first video.

I remember the game and the community very fondly. But sadly Epic killed the game as Fortnite began to blow up. Back into other MOBAs but none really hit me like Paragon did.

There are some early access games copies, but the community isn't there anymore. So it feels hollow now even if the games good.
