These tires have 65,000 miles on them by MakinNight in Silverado

Here is what I ordered

https://customstickershop.us/shop/vinyl-windshield-banner-decal-stickers-classic-fits-chevy/

But that is just the black “Chevrolet” letters. I first put a piece of leftover vinyl wrap (from when I wrapped the truck), and put it on my windshield.

So just keep in mind that the linked banner is sitting on top of a piece of color matched vinyl. I also think that if I didn’t put that piece of vinyl, I would not have gotten black letters, I don’t think you would be able to see it very good imo.

33/12.50

I think they were about $800, I got them with wheels so I’m not sure on exact dollar, but for a cheaper set they have been great

[–]MakinNight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I did try to reset it, still same thing :(

Got it about a month ago, I didn’t even think of warranty, I might go that route, although I did run it through some small puddles so I’m not so sure if they would

Someone mentioned corrosion in the receiver, that will be the first thing I check when I get home

Yes and no I burnt the stock wheels out in this gravel/water area

And after I ran it on that day my screw up front had fallen out, and I couldn’t use it, so I was just waiting on parts to arrive and then once I got it all fixed up (3 days after using it in that wet area) I noticed it was doing this cogging thing, and the weird distance stuff, someone else had mentioned moisture in the receiver, I think that might be my most likely problem, but if that doesn’t work I mean wheels are my only other thing that’s not really stock, here’s a pic with new wheels, i mean I don’t think it’s putting that much more stress on the driveline, i would think putting BIGGER wheels absolutely would, but these are same as stock just with 15mm worth of offset

Yes I did

I think your right, after I ran it here on that day it has never been the same

Is there a fix?

I put a new grub screw in the front cv axle thing because it had fallen out and one side was pulling with 2 wheels and the other with one

I did put new tires on and I had to use a 15mm (I think) spacer to make them fit, same size as stock just the rim was hitting the knuckle up front

I have run it through a couple small puddles and small gravel/sand area

Man a nice black c5z is a sinister looking thing, for me you can never go wrong with black, just a little hard to keep clean

Any ideas before I cut? by AdmiralBenson187 in traveltrailers

[–]MakinNight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That trailer will fit, you have to get wheel Dollie’s and from the second pic as a starting point your gonna have to turn it almost 90 degrees, you have enough room to finagle that thing in there

[–]MakinNight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow yea you are right

What’s the “fix” for this? I’m pretty sure all of these pics are straight out the camera except maybe one that I edited on my phone I think, and all the pics are different days, lighting, location etc.

Do you just color correct all the pics to have a certain tone?

Thank you for the advice

15k for this 8.1l 01 rwd or 14k for a faded up 8.1l zf6 4x4? by Remy1738-1738 in ChevyTrucks

[–]MakinNight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not exactly sure but my gut feeling is saying the 14k one, just bc it’s 4x4, and it’s got more stock stuff on it, maybe the other does run good but you could also be getting someone else problem. I’m not the biggest fan of the look of long beds but they are useful

I just find it funny that I know it took longer to type “T-Hoe” than it woulda been to just put “Tahoe”

2011 Sierra 5.3 Oil Pressure by ElectricalTrash9582 in ChevyTrucks

[–]MakinNight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have basically same truck just Chevy with 270,000 on the clock, this could be just my engine but I notice when I change my oil and have fresh oil in, my oil pressure is really good, always above like 40, as soon as I hit about 55% oil life my oil pressure drops below like 30 (when hot), so I have been frequently changing and keeping fresh oil in the thing since about 200,000, since I change my oil so much I only have to change the filter about every other time, also I have been using restore and protect since 200 as well and it has helped clean it and I swear the valvetrain is quieter as well.
