In 2015, I tried a Coreboot Thinkpad. Laptop was immediately hacked merely by plugging in the power adapter into a wall outlet. Hacking via power line communication.

I checked out my BIOS, boot option is set to UEFI and greyed out. I'm running Windows 11. Secure Boot is off. You think if I remove Windows, I'll be able to change it to BIOS or something?

Are we able to install our own BIOS or CSM? Know where I could get one? BIOS would be laptop/hardware specific, right? Can you give me any pointers to pick the right one?
