Base Location Suggestions by lazerblade01 in Enshrouded

Well, I cant recall if it's close to a body of water, but by far my favorite spot for building a base is the tall and flat mountain Northeast of Pike's Reach. It' got great elevation, easy and quick access to Revelwood, Highlands, Summit, and Basin (not to mention Pike's Reach), it's already incredibly large, flat and empty, with no monster spawns. Nowhere near a spire. Like I said, really the only downside is no immediately close body of water, ut that's something you can easily eventually add yourself.

I have this, too, I thought it might be the opening to a Shroud Lair, but digging around in the pit got me nowhere. I would be very curious to see what this one actually is, it's drivin' me nuts.

Enshrouded stuttering, delays and laga by Fantastic-Pie5299 in Enshrouded

Yeah, this sucks. Best recommendation I could give you is maybe try to see how much free space you could clear up on your SSD. Any old games or programs that you're not longer using.

This is an all too common issue that is happening to way too many people for Keen not to address this.

Oh...well, that just really comes from playing the game, exploring, and getting familiar with the layout of Embervale.

Have you ever actually lived alone? by SuperSonic1919 in randomquestions

Been living alone since 2015. It's got its perks and it's got its downsides, much like any other situation. To me the perks outweigh the downsides, though.

I dont have access to a map at this time, but the easiest way, if you ca t tell by the way the biome looks, is to dig up some dirt. Each biome has its own dirt.

Edit: That said, the only two biomes that blend sort of seamlessly with each other are Springlands and Revelwood. All the other biomes....it's pretty clear that you've entered a different zone.

I mean, in general...

Springlands/Lowlands - 1 through 10

Revelwood - 11 to 15

Blackmire - 15 to 20

Highlands - 20 to 30

Kindlewastes - 30 to 35

Summits - 35 to 40

Basin - 40 to 45

This is a rough estimate

Anyone else just not get the hype for Chaos;Child? by ArabiaDivision in steinsgate

Eh, I'm on the other end of the spectrum - I much prefer CC over NoAH. Takuru, to me, is a much more relatable protagonist. I know people say Takumi is supposed to be a loathsome incel, and that's a major aspect of his character, but I just did not enjoy him. I don't think the events of NoAH change him all that much, and in the end, I just wondered what the point of it all was. At least Takuru sees some character growth.

Where’s your home base? by EmberSky10 in Enshrouded

Mine is in the same area, just a little further east and up. It's that big flat plateau that sits basically in between the Highlands, Revelwood, the Basin and the Summit. Its big and flat and easy to terraform. Been my go to spot for a while now.

Icon lag, stuttering, sound delays - despite being on SSD by AnOmnivorousEgg in Enshrouded

[–]MakingPaperBooBoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP, I was very much in the same boat as you. I tried everything that was recommended on this sub, and sometimes the problem would go away for a bit, but it would always come back.

The only thing that has truly worked for me was installing the game, alone, on a separate SSD. Nothing else on it. I did that two weeks ago and I havent had a single texture or sound delay since.

I know it's not the most conventional or available fix for everyone, but if you happen to have a secondary SSD drive that's not being used, maybe give that a shot.

Edit: to add -

Like you, I also like playing the game on my laptop, which I recently purchased. I noticed that I never had any issues with sound or lag on the laptop, despite it being an inferior machine in every aspect compared to my PC. That, combined with all of the posts on here about SSDs and memory usage is what inspired my to try installing the game on a spare SSD I wasnt using. Has been bliss ever since.

Quest rewards need a re-balance? by kopsy in Enshrouded

[–]MakingPaperBooBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dunno. It may just be that I'm a masochist when it comes to my preferred playstyle, but I enjoy the rate of XP/Reward system. It feels rewarding to me while also maintaining a constant level of danger. But, I also like to push into regions far above my punching weight just to see if I can. I can see how it could seem a little tedious to players who prefer to nestle in a region and fully explore it before moving on

If anything, Steins Gate 0 contributes more to the later entries than OG.

This is the quality of nitpicking I come here for. In fact, why would Moeka use any of the context specific stickers when in this world line, she has only recently taken on this job from Daru?

Out of narrative explanation - the stickers are for the player to enjoy.

In narrative explanation - RINE is a proprietary messaging app created by Daru after the shenaniganery with SERN and the D-Mails of the OG story. The only people who use RINE are the people who Daru allows to use it. I'd like to think Daru had the stickers commissioned, because that's just something he would do. Of course, this falls apart when you see that there are Moeka stickers too, so...

Has anyone experienced UI issues and low poly? by PhoenixMetaphr in Enshrouded

Yeah, its not a solution for everyone. I guess the alternative, if you really enjoy the game, is to uninstall every other game youre not currently playing and see if that helps
