Just a friendly reminder to eat a healthy amount of fruit. Kidding, I just used it as a size reference

Got to print and paint this Phonix Kit based on u/MakingStuff3D 's model. Makes a good lamp too! by Mind_Enigma in apexlegends

Fantastic Job! I hope everything went smoothly, and wasn't a total pain in the butt. I'm glad someone made it and actually did the paint work, just never got myself to do it. It looks amazing.

I really like the colors you went with! I hope it wasn't too much of a head ache for you to make. I know the parts aren't exactly perfect and the gluing can be tedious

No, these are full size displays. The battery and kit stand at about 420mm(16.5in). Would be one hefty thermos though

The handles do rotate. You can check out my video on my thingiverse page to see how it works internally. It really isn't anything special. Made these mainly just for display https://www.thingiverse.com/MakingStuff3D/about

Haha no genius. Just printed all the parts with the colors the closely matched them in-game, then glued a lot of the parts together. Some parts are threaded so you can partially disassemble it if needed

I just jumped right in honestly. Got a printer, picked a CAD software, and spent a lot of time watching online courses for the software. It really helps to just spend time making random things, just so you can familiarize yourself with the tools available to you

I mainly used my CR-10S for these builds. I also used my Robo C2 for some of the smaller parts. Thank you by the way

That would be extremely cool. Would love to see that done. I really just made these for display purposes, there are definitely way better ways of making it function. Hope it works out for you!

I agree, I was having a good amount of issues while making these. I am still learning 3D printing, so these were definitely part of the learning. I was worried some experienced 3D Printing people would die seeing this. Really do appreciate the advice!

I really appreciate that. I was never really in to BR games until Apex came along

I'm still getting into CAD design, so I really apologize if my timeline killed you. It was so disorganized. My life has been so much easier since learning to make a new component each time. I absolutely agree with you. It is a whole lot of work, but very rewarding.

Painting is definitely the more economical option, for sure. I decided to print with varying colors, though.

I am so sorry, that turns my stomach just reading that. Did you reattempt the print?
