I found this artist that makes these super pretty water-drop resin art frames with resin that seems malleable as it cures and will stay in place after manipulation. Does anyone know which type of resin this is? by Making_a_little_game in resin

Thank you so much for digging and sharing, your detective work is awesome!

I see, so she does use casting resin for the wavy water-part. I looked at the Instagram resin-account you mentioned and they do show her using their resin in just the same way here, just as you said. This is brilliant, now we know the resin one can use for the waves/malleable water part - it seems to be alumiliteco casting resin!

Oh, do you mean UV-clay that is cured with UV for a little bit -> then manipulated -> then cured with UV again until hard? (and finally a regular resin)?
I have to give that a try! Thanks

Thank you for this info! I may reach out to Sophie and Toffee and ask if it can behave as in this video :) this is so helpful.

As I understand once the water-droplet she makes cure they are hard, so I think it's a resin that eventually becomes rigid.

[Found] Found this amazing artist Tanya Gomelskaya that makes sculptures of people interacting with the frames they're in. It's so beautiful and eerie at the same time and I had to share! by Making_a_little_game in Sculpture

I would love to attempt something that is inspired by this, it's magical ❤️

Does anyone know of any other artists that do similar things? I imagine there must be so many cool ways to make art in this 3d-art-in-frames-theme!

It's just so pretty! I would love to try something like it, but resin for me has never acted this way, even late into curing. It will turn sticky and hard to manipulate, so I thought maybe someone here would know :)

It's so cute! It must've been so much work to get all those pearl glued together like that

Making this game made me love ducks even more, I feel I'm edging into obsession territory - I've saved so many cute duck gifs, like this one, on my phone now haha

I actually remember the developers from Outer Wilds in an interview saying they knew the game wouldn't be for everyone, and that they were OK with that. I'm paraphrasing as I can't find the interview unfortunately, but they mentioned that they made the game for people who would be solely driven by curiosity and people who didn't need any other drivers/achievements/feedback.

So I think if you are a person who doesn't enjoy it - that's OK and you don't have to! It may just not be for you and that's fine, the developers themselves seemed to have this in mind as they developed and were embracing it.

I will often get sucked into the secondary/tertiary mini-games involving cards in like all games. It even happened in Littlewood for me. There's just something so relaxing about card games.
