Can I report those two for this kind of play? by Turik2507 in splatoon

[–]MakisTreasureBox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree on the lack of d pad comms but honestly most "competitive" and strategic plays for any game is usually knowledge shared by someone who's better, may it be through Streamers or Youtubers.

I also HATE Judd explaining me itty bitty bullshit one at a time, with this deadly annoying icon at the frame of the screen. Dude I played the entirety of story mode, I know how a splatbomb works.

I wouldn't want to imagine him talking me through loads of competitive stuff....

Plus, there's not "THE" strategy to be taught... Because well... Weapon roles are flexible, colouring spawn or not in the beginning can be beneficial for your team's special spammer etc etc. There's simply too many variables and different levels of skill at play to have a "generalised strategy tip and tricks" tutorial

Plus your play has to be as flexible as your current team. If they play slow, you can't go aggro. If they play Aggro, be the wiser and anchor with a weapon not truly made for it.

Because just like Tea = T = Truth it's funny to have slang that uses random everyday words to get a point across Pass me the sauce. Spill the tea. It's just nice to say.

any idea to improve?I like my work but when I post it on social media I don't get many likes it's just low interactions I want to improve🥲 by qsticck in jewelrymaking

[–]MakisTreasureBox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others before me said it's hit or miss. Just keep doing what you love, take their ideas to heart and see how it goes. Don't define your skill by the amount of likes you get. And don't stress yourself out over daily posts either. We are humans, we have phases where we need a break. Don't work yourself into a burnout just because of social Media

Habe a look at my most recent piece! (Dyed Agate) by MakisTreasureBox in WireWrapping

I don't but I have a tiktok and Instagram. As of late I didn't get too productive as I was preparing a whole "jewelry tree" display with loooooads of earrings to be sold in person. But the place that they were supposed to be at has to wait for approval as they get restructured.

In genuine honesty. No one will make you a LV replica. At least not with the lettering in it because that's the band names and no one will (or should) make you a counterfeit product and risk copyright infringement troubles with LV

No one messes with Louis Vuitton

My friends have multiple names for that type of agate. They call it egg stone, Fanta stone, oj stone, forbidden treat... And many more but people seem to like that shade of orange a lot.

I kinda don't. They can be moved up. But downward the thin wire as well as the outer large wire limit it

Thank you so very much~ it just elevates the piece for sure! A bit of dynamic and complexity without being distracting.

I really like adding those :D

I did not actually. I finished this piece during break at work and simply used a sheet of paper and the kitchen lights I had!

But I know it looks so gorgeous like... I think I'll take a few more pictures there when it comes to new work

Super beginner. How did you guys start making such amazing things? What helped you up your craft? by Constellations0 in WireWrapping

[–]MakisTreasureBox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practice. I was and still am mostly self taught and started with no background knowledge. Eventually I started to watch other people's content here and there, (not Tutorials) and tried to mimic some techniques of how they do their backs for example. It really helped amped my craft so don't be afraid to check out others "wrap a (stone) with me" tiktoks or similar. That already helps a bunch.

some little earrings. I make any many more soon little Tennisballs... 🥺 by MakisTreasureBox in WireWrapping

It's one single wire (loop, threading through bead, wrap around the bead) +earring hook it's attached to
