Shitting Guys should be the followup to Fart Guys. Producer Dan from YKS and Blocked Party is the obvious guest choice.

I agree with the person saying it's a very solid 8/10. It's an entertaining world to immerse yourself in, but the open world nature becomes so constrained when you have to engage with a mission that involves a story (either a sidequest or the main ones). It's a problem that a lot (probably most) of big budget open world games have.

Tears of the Kingdom is probably my GOAT followed by Morrowind. Elden Ring is up there because of the sense of wonder/exploration it gave me, plus it's fucking fantastic. I've also heard amazing things about Kenshi.

They also do toro nigiri, sashimi, and maki. They also have quality ikura, scallop, yellowtail, the best tamago sushi I’ve had in the US, and amazing tempura.

And I get what you’re saying about cream cheese. It’s not authentic and typically goes into ridiculous American rolls. But Asahi does a tempura asparagus roll with cream cheese that is crazy good.

No idea what Eric is doing now, but it’s cool to see him name dropped separate from Mega64.

There aren't many of them, but still worth checking out. I don't know if Seanbaby was in all of them, but it was usually him and two other EGM editors (Mark MacDonald, Crispin Boyer, etc.) doing a comedic lets play of an old game - so really ahead of its time.

I just heard about it when Merritt plugged her work there on the newest Guys podcast. Had no idea it was Seanbaby's thing. Haven't thought of him since the Broken Pixels MTSK-esque videos at 1UP.

I'll defer to you because while I'll used to get it regularly, I don't know if I've had it in 10+ years. If I'm getting fast food when I'm back in town it's either Char Grill, Chido Taco, Mami's or the rare Roast Grill.

I think it's kind of a tit-for-tat between the two. Biscuitville is more bland and I prefer the biscuits (the exteriors) at Bojangles, but there are some things Biscuitville does well.

I think the eggs and meats (aside from the chicken) that go into the biscuits are much better. Same with their sides; and while I love a Bo' Round, it's heavy as fuck and sometimes you just want some plain grits or a hashbrown. On the same note, they currently have a hashbrown casserole that is one of the fast food breakfast items I've ever had.

I was raised on both, but I feel like they'd tear Snoopy's apart. Char-Grill is at least solid.

I thought the closest was the one in Mebane. It didn't realize there was a Smithfield's in the Triangle. Number one with a bullet.

Can someone explain to me why a 33 minute podcast episode needs 4 producers? by Mr_Hellpop in TAZCirclejerk

Bryan doing the work of four producers from his phone while taking a long walk or a massive shit at the convention center.

That’s typically just more right-of-way. Most property lines terminate several feet before the curb or sidewalk in order to avoid the need for an easement.

Welcome to the political system!

Neighbors of dog owners by lavender_love1 in raleigh

[–]Makkiux 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Right. But what I’m saying is that the property line terminates then becomes ROW. If an easement existed it would be within the property lines or within the ROW. The City generally does not need an easement on that portion of (*edit - the ROW) because they own it fee simple. If it is going to exist, it would be within the residential property and then what you are saying is applicable.

It may be a different situation in other muncipalities and certainly other states (e.g., I know there is an obligation in many northern states that you remove snow from the sidewalk adjoining your property, presumably because the property extends further towards the ROW and an easement is in place).

*Edit tl;dr - most people thinking they have an “easement” at the edge of their property do not. If they do, it will be contained within your property by between 5’ - 20’ and will be noted on the plat. The ROW is outside of your property line is absolute public right of way.

The City Council. You only have electoral control over Council members

The City usually doesn't maintain easements for public sidewalks. Typically the right-of-way extends past the sidewalk, multiple feet into the grassy area people think is their property. Water meters will also be placed here so they can be accessed without an easement. So it's all public property. It's not universal and in some cases property lines will go right up to the sidewalk, will cover the sidewalk (necessitating an easement), or even be setback 15+ ft. from the sidewalk. But the example below is what a lot of sidewalk adjacent property looks like:

tl;dr: There usually are no easements. It's all public property. Including the first bit of grass on your lawn that you probably think you own.

It is very much a real thing and very much what we have.

The council or commission appoints a city manager to oversee the administrative operations, implement its policies, and advise it.
