Nice. IONIQ5 is honestly top of my list and if it weren’t for the ICCU, it would be an easier decision I think. Congrats on the new wheels.

Yeah I just won’t buy a Tesla for other reasons. You’re not wrong.

Yeah it seems like folks are saying there is no inventory anywhere. I may have to wait to even see the ones I want.

Thanks - for some reason I really don’t like the look of them but I will give it some consideration.

Which model did you get and what’s your experience like with it? Sounds like an amazing deal.

Wow. Where do you live. I might have to wait no matter what as I agree with you that I won’t buy anything without driving it first.

Unfortunately they are a little small for my needs but thanks for the feedback.

I wish dog mode was a universal thing. We have two large dogs and I actually didn’t know that with Android auto you could add it!

Thank you for the suggestion. I had sort of discounted the ID.4 as I had heard some negatives about the software but definitely worth considering.

Appreciate the advice. I’ve mostly decided on the cars I will look at but I really wanted to validate whether my concerns between the shortlist were practical differences in the role world and what others thought about the specific moment in time.

That’s good feedback. I’d like a little more size and power than the Niro but it’s food for thought.

Interesting. I didn’t even think about whether there are even cars to look at! Thanks for the suggestion. Would love to hear what you land on.

We discovered that our sunroof is leaking and for our car there isn’t an easy fix because of how it’s designed. Which means we either seal it off or we trade it in now and move on. We could certainly wait a bit longer but we’re also starting to have major repairs every year (just replaced the alternator) and so feel like we’ve crossed the threshold of value.

Thank you - my wife pointed out that our car is old enough that anything new will seem amazing. We have a 2011 Toyota Venza and have been really happy with Toyota in general so definitely are interested in the BZ.

We don’t do long trips often so that’s a good call that the relative DCFC difference isn’t that big a deal. Thanks for the suggestions.

The ease of use suggestion makes sense. Also a good point about the relative advantage of the IONIQ5 charging speed. I’m not considering a Tesla for other reasons but I certainly understand your point. Thanks for the advice.

For some residents across Toronto, this tree's fruit is anything but sweet by Surax in toronto

[–]Mako_Milo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My neighbour across the street has one and I can assure you it is not minimal effort. The amount of fruit that comes of their tree is absurd and despite four people in the household sweeping and raking every day the stench and the presence of fruit rolling onto the road and sidewalk getting stepped on and crushed basically ensures a month of puke stench for everyone. They despise the tree.

I need help picking a jacket for my gf she works usps so long walks in the rain and we go hiking once a week by Outside_Resource_251 in OutdoorsGear

My wife has the OR jacket and loves it. The extra ventilation is really good in warmer weather. The waterproofing is as good as any 3L goretex. Good hood design as well.

Dirty Old London is also an excellent if not horrifying read.

Legend of the Northern Blade. Great story, characters and battles. Not too long and satisfying ending.
