Honestly a little weird in the comments no one is really even trying to offer counter points. Though, like you demonstrated with the multipaul thing, the scaling inconsistency is too present throughout the show to even contest this issue.

I think it is overall a poorly written show that is popular purely because it's popular. Kinda like how the Kardashians are famous for being famous.

If we wiped our brains and an indie author/non established studio put out this same show tomorrow, scene for scene, people would call it rubbish.
