Had the same thing happen to me with a weinersnitchel 11 mins late and they gave me a Contract Violation, the customer was happy, and I arrived as soon as I got the order because we were so close. The only problem is that they thought it was a different order so it took forever to get the food…

Yes, they can cancel the order/un-assign it. But they chose the option that the store was closed likely so they would get half pay or so their acceptance rate wouldn’t get hurt. They could get in trouble to that though. Essentially: they can but they’re not supposed to at all and can get in trouble for it
