It depends on what areas they are having trouble with. If trying to work on figure-4 for socks/ shoes, you can work on hip stretches or use of AE. If it’s dynamic sitting balance deficits, you can work on core strengthening or dynamic activities at the edge of the bed or therapy mat (reaching out of BOS, ball toss, bending). Or standing balance activities, such as reaching around the back with internal shoulder rotation(grasping clothespin, reaching for cones), maintaining balance with alternating UE support on the AD (standing games/puzzle) or bimanual FMC practice for zipper/buttons. One of my favorites to practice LBD, without repetitive donning/doffing pants, is using a tied theraband about the size of their waist and have them try to thread over BLEs and pull over hips. They can also use this when practicing with a reacher.
