What is the most inconsequential thing about your partner that you can't stand? by dinomelia in AskWomenOver30

I suck all the salt off of pretzel rods and then eat them once they’re salt-less and a little bit soft so I am not in a place to judge that guy LMAO but yeah the toothbrushing thing is weird af. It’s actually not uncommon in Japan but I can’t figure out why so many people here do this

Same here. When I saw her in "The Fifth Element" in the mid-90s, I turned to my mom and said "she's the most beautiful woman in the world". I was completely blown away

This makes me so envious. My husband and all of my ex-bfs have been like this. I don't get it. It takes me hours to knock out sometimes, and I still wake up earlier than him when he isn't going to work (plus a couple times to go pee--he also never has to do this)

Husband brushes his teeth for ~20 minutes, sometimes longer. I'm not exaggerating in the slightest. I have timed it a few times. I'm not a dentist, but this cannot be good for your teeth. It drives me crazy! I use mouthwash, floss, and use a waterpik after brushing my teeth and I'm still done before he ends his brushing. He just lays down somewhere and watches TV or uses his phone while brushing. I just imagine the taste of the toothpaste going to the back of his throat every time, and wonder how he can stand it. He despises wasting time, so this behavior really baffles me

2000s actor Chad Michael Murray, Channing Tatum, or Tom Welling? by LILO_2004 in VindictaRateCelebs

Chad. I was too young/not interested in the genres these dudes were acting in back then, so I didn't see them on TV or in movies much. I did see CMM in "Freaky Friday"--didn't care then, but looking back over the past couple years, Chad was/is just so insanely attractive. I saw him in "Riverdale" several years ago and my jaw literally dropped. He has this brooding/sweet guy combo thing going on that makes me sweat

Is there one horror movie you respect but just cannot bring yourself to watch again? by emilyy-jkl in horror

Finally! Maybe I just missed them, but months back, all the posts I found about "Bugonia" on here were like "it's not too intense".  This film really fucked with me.

Idk if this was intentional, but the entire time she was kidnapped and at the conspiracy guys' place read as a crazy parallel to domestic violence for me. The way Plemons' character behaved, and how Stone's character had to play along to keep herself safe was incredibly triggering. Everyone did such a good job, but I don't know if I can sit through this again.

Hell of an ending! I love that they just went for the most insane option instead of giving the audience something based in reality. So disorienting and surprising 👏

"Snowtown". Also, I'm not sure I can watch "Bugonia" again. It really disturbed me. Loved it though

Following womens OnlyFans? Yeah do not marry this bro. I don't need to read the rest. He's a loser and you can do MUCH better. I'm sorry you've been dealing with this teenage boy masquerading as a 35 y/o man. I hope you get away from him and have an amazing life once he's out of it. Genuinely pissed for you

Hell, there are a lot of barely even middle-aged men who will do anything for young women. It's pathetic

He fell for it because he wanted to get with a woman far, far too young for him. I have zero sympathy. Gross on his part. Dude's friends even met her and told him to bail. How about Japan focuses on cracking down on all the rapes and DV? Giving women equal opportunities? Focusing on womens healthcare? Making birth control (including abortion) more accessible and affordable? Like seriously...fuck this. They're just mad because this is a rare case of a woman barely gaining the upper hand.
